I believe if Houston wins tonight (up 1-0 in the 8th), then it is decided tomorrow.

If Houston loses tonight, then Jays lock up WC 2 tonight. Texas clinches the division and Houston gets WC 3.

So what are we looking at for a WC series roster? We only need 3 starters, though I think Kikuchi will be there as well as insurance and bulk innings out of the pen if needed. How many more pitchers do we carry? Eden can only be rostered if someone is "injured" as he wasn't on the 40 man at the deadline. The exact rule there I'm not certain. Does Jansen count since he was injured since the deadline, or does it have to be someone new?

Still, Jays have underachieved this year so far. I expected to win the division, not be 10 games back of the Orioles. Now, a good playoff run erases a lot of what happened this regular season. Let's see. I am not satisfied with just a playoff spot. This team needs to go deep.

Cut off is the end of August. So Jansen will be on the roster if healthy and I believe Eden is eligible as well.
