lol. He'd be the third catcher on seniority but he's easily the best catcher on talent. Since we love arbitrary sample sizes here, he's hitting .308/.388/.575 with 5 homeruns over his last 30 games. His total numbers are better than Realmuto's were at the same age. I like his chances of becoming a top 10 catcher at least, and we traded him for glorified Kevin Pillar with more homeruns. It will be fun to see the rationalizations of why it was either such a good trade or it was necessary or both when that time comes.
