Dan's doing the FIBA World Championship tournament games. He's calling them remotely from Toronto while the tourney itself is in the Phillipines and Japan, so he's been able to do the home games but he can't very well leave for the road trip.

Most likely it is Dan's decision. He is a big basketball fan and he still calls college games on ESPN during the season
