I think Michkov could well be in play, but I think the preferred outcome right now would be 7 and 22 for 5- unless you’re 100% sold on Michkov coming over sooner than later.

Everyone knows I’m game with Dvorsky at 5, but you know what’s better than getting Dvorsky at 5? Getting Dvorsky at 7 and pick 22!

I’ve also seen picks 9 and 17 floated for 5, but for myself I want to stay top 7 so I’m assured of Dvorsky or Leonard.

We suffered all season to get 5th OV in a draft with a clear top 5 so that we could trade down and blow picks on Newhook. Kill me. This franchise is cursed.

El Cloun definetly knows his shit. He's leaked a tonne of Habs related moves over the last 2 years. One of the only non mainstream "insiders" I actually follow.

If he says we're taking Michkov if he'd at 5, then that's the pick. Unless we trade down obviously, which looks like a real possibility. Depend son who the defense prospect is.

No he doesn't. The guy probably said a million things in the past, and the ones he has right, he took it from sowhere else. At best, he's an average educated guesser. Before the deal happen, people were already talking about Hughes aiming at a Dach type of trade. So if clown didn't get his info from anywhere else, he analyzed it and went with Newhook. Do some advanced searches on Twitter, and you'll find that Newhook's name was already everywhere in deals proposals.

On top of it, he always predicts things...yet...keep saying that everything can change ALL OF SUDDEN. Yeah...it could....but not 99.999999% of the time like his record is.

We better not hand deliver a generational talent to Philly or Washington. I don't think Washington has the pieces to get a deal done for 5th, if it's Philly then I'm asking for a ridiculous overpayment that starts with 7th, 22nd and then they add on.

Usually people move up to get a good player. But we never see the contrary.

If we move out of the top 5 or trade that pick it will haunt us.
