Somewhere on earth in a hospital
Lots of people in this thread who think they know more about hockey than pro scouts. Also, these same people predicting the future.

There's no reason to be disappointed until these players have played in the NHL.
oh yeah the same scouts that picked Kakko and the others bust in NYR
and the moron who worked with Bergevin and Timmins for a decade where they ended in the bottom of the league because they cant draft

Surely they know more because they are paid to watch f***ing replays

Simashev before Michkov LMFAO

I'm not going to lie I wanted Leonard if weren't picking Matvei.
RD is a prime position to fill when building a team.
This gives me the impression they don't see Mailloux as having a high ceiling.

So why make a move to accelerate the rebuild by acquiring newhook and then select a dman that will take 3+ years to have an impact?

It's not going to take Reinbacher that long. I give it about 18 months. We trade Savard at 2025 TD (2024-2025 season), and promote Reinbacher.

Was Price really drunk because it seriously was quite a shameful fumble ?
It's the most logical explanation tbh, he looked flushed and completely out of it after at the table.

Could just be embarrassed but lol

Actually I'm changing my mind that's kinda awful to speculate after last year

Reinbacher was expected to go high. I wasn't too happy because I have no idea how much offensive upside he has. If he is another Seider it will be a win.

At least trade a veteran d for a 2nd and make tomorrow interesting
At one point KH will have to accept he'll need to retain to trade vets away. We have too many players atm imo there's no place. Like RHP will play where? And it will be the same next season with only Hoffman's contract ending this year. Nobody will take Dvorak, Anderson or Armia at their current cap hit and give you something for it outside of another vet with an appreciable contract. KH will have to retain on their contract if he wants to get something.
