Not sure if you are sarcastic but bad hockey player is a stretch. Let's just say that at 5.5 millions for a couple more years it's a hard sell for winning teams who don't have much cap space left. Anderson looked good as a depth player last year but when used with Caufield and Suzuki he looked totally out of place. Obviously KH wont publicly say he did not get a good offer for him it would destroy any value he could potentially have to a desperate GM. But i strongly believe that if KH would have received a 1st for Anderson without retention he would already be gone by now. If not then KH is a pretty terrible GM imo.

Only reason we don't get picks 7 and 22 is because Kent knew Ari wanted Reinbacher so bad, and so didn't think he could get Reinbacher at 7..
And the only reason Briere would give up 7 and 22 at all in the first place, IS to get to 5 TO take Michkov..
