I think he had the right guy, the TMU guy is from Moskva (Moscow) as is the 04 on elite prospects and the photo they used is of someone playing on the team the 04 guy plays on.Nothing on the TMU site yet.

DeGrazia pro rumours
Smith no clue
Kale McCallum was halfway through his 20-year old season when he opted to come to UNB after Christmas. Same for Nick Blagden.Brady Gilmour is the only UNB player in recent memory that I can remember coming in early.
True…forgot about those guys. I guess I was thinking of guys who gave up their entire final season of CHL.Kale McCallum was halfway through his 20-year old season when he opted to come to UNB after Christmas. Same for Nick Blagden.
All these ECHL deals can end in December if the guys don't like long bus rides and hanging around the mall all day after practice.Mitchell Smith has signed with Orlando of the ECHL.

For teams that have room, like UNB who always saves a spot or 2.I expect a lot of Christmas adds
Another recent high draft pick leaving junior earlyEx-Moosehead D-man Cam Whynot to Acadia.
He wasn't at their training camp, so perhaps he was told he wouldn't be there as an OA. He did play 4 years with them. I also think he's recovering from an injury and will be out for a while, so that may be a factor as well.Another recent high draft pick leaving junior early
It's long overdue. A good overage player is much better off playing USports - where they will get much more practice time and compete against much better competition - than padding their stats against 17-18 year-olds in the CHL. Although there have been a smattering of USports alumni in the NHL over the years, it seems that USports is getting more respect recently than in the past. The success of Logan Thompson and Noah Philp has certainly not hurt.Could be a trend. Seems to be more over-agers deciding to go early to university instead of dropping down to Junior A for their last year.
Don't forget graduating from university one year sooner means getting to the ECHL one year sooner, and younger.
It's so good you had to say it twice.Hearing that former Calgary Flames draft pick Cole Jordan has joined the Sask. Huskies, who graduated three D-men (Connor Hobbs, Evan Fiala, Tate Olson) from last season.

I'll have a look tomorrow. I've been slack this past month. There are a few more names on the LOI registry…but not sure if they’re for this year or next.
