For everyone's viewing pleasure. . .

FWIW I think folks are overplayng the effect Lucic may have on Frederic. IMO the real veteran leadership that's going to help Frederic this year is having Marchand as the captain. Bergeron is my all time favorite Bruin, but Marchand's apporach is a much better fit for the ways Frederic can impact a game. Sure Lucic can take on the heavies - but they never really bothered Frederic much out there anyway.

Tape is so much of fighting in todays NHL and In the fight with Reeves, MacDermind kept his left elbow/arm up which helped block Reeves usually strong right handed blows. In the bout with Looch he starts out similar but Looch goes under Macdermind left which caused MacDermind to drop his arm and then looch goes over and its lights out.

Looch is as strong as an ox but is also very technical and Im sure he picked up on that, as Im sure he's watched the way Mac handled Reeves. November 2 in Boston and then a month later in Toronto will be two highly watched games.

Most players respond in a positive way to a kick in the a$$. Others retire into their shell and regress. Looks like, if initial views are accurate, he finally embraced Bruce's motivation.
Bruce learned a lot from the Bruins 25-5 start don’t kid yourself

I am real curious as to how the defenseman obtained in the Taylor Hall trade look on the ice? Alec Regula and Ian Mitchell. Do they look good? Any potential in making the roster? Also Reilly Walsh who they got from the Devils? Anyone attending notice the play of these three?

Heinen makes the team and we have our official 2023-24 Bruins Whipping Boy

Several candidates on a roster feeling loaded with short term mercenaries while pending cap space increase and prospect development. It certainly is not overly exciting/investing especially after last season but we're here for the logo more than the roster I accept.

These jerseys look so good. I dunno what people are talking about.

The stripes. The empty space top half. The gold. Lazy design.

The alternate is respectable.

Reaves is still the man, i assume he will be much more active in Toronto this year. Lucic is still easily a top 5 guy though
Lucic and Reaves are either 1-2. You can make your pick on who you think is the better of the two.

They're both the top dogs. Then it goes MacDermid behind them.

When Reaves fights he typically overwhelms guys with right hands. He will immediately start throwing jackhammers. If you weather that storm, you can probably do decently well against him.

I think what helps Reaves win most fights is his control, not saying he`s never thrown a haymaker but typically he`s a stand in there and let`s go fighter, unlike say Freddie who is all about hoping to land a wild haymaker, Reaves is one of the very rare fighter today who I think could have hung with the Proberts and Domi`s years ago, a guy like Freddie or Tom Wilson would be drinking their dinners for weeks if they fought like they do back then

Definitely

There is also short & long term plan

The Bruins assembled the lines like New Englanders closet - all conditions and weather

The eventual objective over the next 12 months is in with a handful of Lauko, Lysell, Merkulov, Beecher, Poitras, Steen, McLaughlin etc

probably the game plan but subject to change if warranted

Sweeney could go get Hanifin tomorrow and jump right to Cup favorites with that D/G group but I think give it a month, 20 games, 2023 and see what you have and need and second half go get it

I know looking at the schedule to figure out my season ticket schedule they only play 16 games at home in 2023 and a whopping 26 in 2024.

Seems like a good situation to figure out where you need to address areas
I think the plan for Hanifin is to try to sign him next summer and let Gryz go. They also hope that Lindholm makes to next summer and try to get him as well. They wanted both of them in their respective draft years.
