That's fantastic...Let's see if Brown and Greer are worthy of being claimed....doubt it. In fact they may jeopardize the development of some of the younger players in Providence.

Hopefully not. I would rather have a 45 year old Shawn Thornton than Mr. Intensity Heinen on this team. Would rather see Heinen on Montreal. Makes them worse and the Mobtreal media would be brutal to him.

I think all the guys that just cleared have one-way contracts as well as the two put on waivers today ....so at least all of them will make their NHL salary money playing in the AHL. I'm also sure Don is looking to move a few of them if he can
Loheri is probably getting sent down and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Let things shake out over the next few weeks. He'll be back real soon.

They aren't but they have too many D so they'll send waiver exempt Loheri down, keep Mitchell as the 7th D and sign Heinen

He might but similar players are being cut all over the league. We shall see what happens
Sincerely doubt it. It’s very hard to give up a spot/integrate a guy at this juncture.

clearing waivers also makes players easier to trade. maybe zboril will get a fresh start via a deal.

Good, they can demote Beecher (on paper) during longer layoffs and save some of that sweet sweet extra cap space.
Lohrei first call up on D when there’s an injury. Hopefully they rotate Mitchell in when Forbort or Shattenkirk have a bad game.

That is a nice line. Got Lucic for his presence, and then 2 guys who have elite speed and can hit and be a pain in the ass to play against
