You re not more physical with this D corp, even softer than last yearGryz McAvoy
Lindholm Shattenkirk
Lorhei Carlo
Give Lindholm/McAvoy a few extra shift together at key times in the game.
What do u suggest ? Who do u like on the back end? I didn’t think lohrei had a chance but some genius pointed out the salary cap implications of having him. It gives the bruins the option of having a 23 man roster instead of 22. Maybe they dump forbort. You re not more physical with this D corp, even softer than last year

Can Edward fight? He looks like a nice future addition to play that role at some pointI mean I completely agree that they need a McQuaid / Kevin Miller type. They don't have one. What ya gonna do?

He has a long, long way to go before he can play in the NHLWhat have you thought about Edward? In London we know him as a tough physical dman. He plays with an edge and crosses the line sometimes. Has he had a good camp? My personal projection would be a 5 or 6D
Yes
Agreed, but why is he still at camp?He has a long, long way to go before he can play in the NHL
Thanks for the post. Call anytime with updates this season! What have you thought about Edward? In London we know him as a tough physical dman. He plays with an edge and crosses the line sometimes. Has he had a good camp? My personal projection would be a 5 or 6D

We are hype on him. He is still raw and young. We love physical defence around these parts. I think we penciled him in for the 2026-2027 seasonWhat have you thought about Edward? They only cut some older ahl players so far(I think)Agreed, but why is he still at camp?
He hasn’t been cut yetAgreed, but why is he still at camp?
Trade for Dylan McIlrathI mean I completely agree that they need a McQuaid / Kevin Miller type. They don't have one. What ya gonna do?
The bruins have a typeTbf Marchand had almost a full season and a half of ahl seasoning. He showed there he could produce but also play a responsible game on the defensive side. When poitras is eligible if he goes to the A and is the go to guy, puts up pts and plays a pro game I think there’s less risk in his development stunting if he breaks in on the fourth line for half a season.
Also Marchand he was more of a late bloomer when it came to his offensive game. I don’t think anybody saw him as a 35 goal 80 pt guy even 3-4 seasons into his nhl career. Maybe an exception to the usual rules.
Can they even keep Poitras for the 9 games without a big Cap crunch and rework?
From Capfriendly it looks like they could make it happen but would need to waive Zboril, Brown, Greer, Megna, Walsh, etc, etc. and not sign either Chiasson or Heinen. (Assumes Boqvist sticks and Lauko is on the roster).
If he can only cut the 9 games and levels out they will need to see who made it thru and can be called back up. If he flatlines after 40 games then they are really screwed.
In all cases they are going to have to flood the waiver wire as there are many of the possible roster options eligible this year sot he cuts will be interesting to see play out. It's the issue with 2 nickels for a dime as so many of these guys are good enough for depth, but not good enough for a legit NHL roster slot. And really puts the squeeze on the guys who could possibly make it but are waiver eligible. Don't see many of those guys making it this year even if they outplay the others.

I can’t remember the last time the bruins had four rookies on the roster.Time for Management to walk the walk
Poitras, Beecher,Mitchell and Lohrei in
Zboril and the Potato out
I was watching him yesterday and he’s certainly interesting but he’s got AHL serious time aheadWhat have you thought about Edward? In London we know him as a tough physical dman. He plays with an edge and crosses the line sometimes. Has he had a good camp? My personal projection would be a 5 or 6D

If I had to guess Oct 13I can’t remember the last time the bruins had four rookies on the roster.
Marchy started on the 4th line and Bergy played mostly RW his first year. After the TD, he was with Samsonov and Nylander on a really good 2nd line. That is the Detroit way that has worked time and time again, patience works.
Maybe they finally get somebody to give them a third for Grczelyk. Would prefer they move him for a physical D but you get more physical by default with Frodo gone. What do u suggest ?
