They should win this with ease and it looks like it's playing out that way so far. Biggest thing for me is to not return to some of the bad habits that plagued them early in the tournament.

3rd and 4th lines with goals so far. We need those lines to produce more, so this could be a good confidence booster for those lines.

I lol’d at that too. I just remember Tage firing shots from everywhere….no looking around or thinking….load and fire. Not exactly the same.

The lack of intensity and consistent effort is a huge concern. They'll get plastered by Canada if they play like today where they think it's an intrasquad scrimmage. I'd start sitting players right now who don't show any effort. And for the love of god, put Gauthier at center on the 2nd line.

The effort doesn't necessarily carry over but the preparation and process does. I'm not saying they wouldn't come out intense against Canada, but I don't like how the effort disappeared after Stramel's goal was called off.
