WJC: 2023 Team Canada Roster Talk Part 2

In practice it was supposed to be the bumper but they were unable to get the puck to him and he ended collapsing to the net whenever shots came in from the point.

Tsn is trash , they seem to hype a story to get viewers or to create a sensation. I guess that’s what it takes now a days to get ratings.

I am referring to the size of the defence hype by tsn

People have been complaining about their hype for years, but we've recently seen the opposite of hype... little to no coverage at all during the last few months. I am beyond thrilled to see TSN doing some WJC hype again!

Just chiming in to say that in the period between the day when the team is announced and the tournament actually starts, this thread gets a little weird. Like, 10:30 pm downtown bus weird. Y'all all right?

Only reason they haven’t hyped as much as you think the last couple of years is because there was nothing to hype !!! They are now full mode hype again. Tsn is trash

Ummm... is that REALLY why you think TSN hasn't been promoting the tournament the past several months? I'm guessing you haven't been reading the news much. :laugh:

Anyways , I didn’t like the summer coach but he got the job done. I don’t know much about this coach but I really hope he didn’t go with a big team just because of the size of the players.

I hope this is a fast team. But honestly I don’t know much about most of these players mobility

The importance of size on the back-end is always a debate, so it will be interesting to see how the U.S fares against Canada this year. The Americans are rolling with a very small defensive group this WJC.

I hope our defence aren’t big and soft. I was watching the scrimmage by our 5.9 Stankoven against some 6.4 foot defensman and our 6.4 looked soft. Hope this was due to it being a scrimmage but he looked soft asf
