It's not a good idea for any player to publically demand to play for one team. But I'm sure he can make it known in interviews with these teams it's his dream to play for the Canucks and this might make them think longterm if they'd be better off trading the pick to Vancouver.I know the odds of a consensus 1st overall pick demanding only to play for one team are... really low, but part of me still really, really hopes that he does this.
Connor, I know you're probably reading this thread. You know what to do, lad. It would be the most chad move in all of hockey history. DO IT.
You know that Vancouver needs a cup more than any of those other franchises. Follow your heart. There's nothing wrong with it.
It is for Connor. He knows that Vancouver will embrace him. He will be a hero province wide. He will have streets named after him. He will lead this team to glory, and I know that he lusts for the glory of being the chosen one. It's not a good idea for any player to publically demand to play for one team. All aboard team tank.
5 actually...he turned 6 on July 17 2011.Wasn't Bedard like 6 when Canucks loss the cup?
The Canucks will need to be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention by the trade deadline to be sellers.Horvat, Myers, Boeser are all realistically players we can trade this season, I absolutely hope we explore that avenue as soon as possible.
How about Remembrance Day?The Canucks will need to be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention by the trade deadline to be sellers.

Stay the course, don't make any trades, we're in a perfect spot in the standings right now. Don't want any trades until the deadline now.
Only wanted to tank to turf Benning and finally wanted to be excited about the team for the first time since 2013. Nope.
So sad the Whitecaps are also garbage and icky to root for and we've no other teams, because I for sure am not bringing up my kid to be witness to this souless shit franchise.
If we tank and start over again this team isn't winning a cup in the 2020s. Maybe at the very end of it and with 32 teams it's a crapshoot even if you execute a proper rebuild perfectly.
I guess all that to say I'm finally checking out for real off this team, because if dumping Green and Benning couldn't do it, nothing will. Good luck to the newer fans and the long suffering veterans.
