Wallstedt with a Freudian slip in the interview: "playing in Tre Koner" (Three Cones). He know what kind of defence he will have in front of him ;)
Huh, ah lol sorry. Listened to the interview but didn’t actually hear him misspeak.

Huh, ah lol sorry.
In the interview with Jesper Wallstedt durint the intermission, he accidentaly said "Tre Koner" and then immediately corrected himself to "Tre Kronor". Well, my mind immediately went to traffic cones/pylons. I made a joke, I guess it didn't land :\

The final 5 minutes in the second were... Something.

idk how that wasn't a penalty on the Swiss tripping Carlsson, though.

Yeah no it landed, I corrected my own post three seconds after I made the first one, when I first read it I got excited and thought he insinuated that there might be significant reinforcements coming :(

Also playing Raymond with Lindberg and Berggren was awful. Berggren was good but he always is. Raymond however was completely neutered playing with a less talented center.

Does anyone know why we always have a different kind of jerseys outside of World Championships and Olympics? They're ass ugly.

I've been struggling with who I prefer in the draft between Fantilli and Carlsson and after I watch Carlsson play I lean his way. I'd be ecstatic with either but I like Carlsson's overall game a little better than Fantilli's better shot ... I think ... for now ... subject to change ... maybe.

Both are offensive monsters with great two way ability and crazy upside. You really can’t go wrong.
I don’t understand how its possible for Leo to be Swedens best player leading up to the worlds when Sweden has Sandin and Raymond who are good NHL players. At 18 years old no less.

Carlsson is our only offensively gifter center, playing him with Raymond is a must.

They were discussing during the broadcast wether Carlsson was "a man for the World". Strange discussion, he is an absolute lock in my eyes. There is no better center available right now and the only two still playing are Wennberg and Karlsson and they won't join until the last games of the round robins at the earliest. Leo is our #1C for now

Its an absolutely absurd discussion. There is no other way. Hallam knows this, he is nothing like the other coaches Sweden has had the misfortune of having the past 7 years.

The only possible way Leo is not the first center would be for Petterssons insurance thing to magically go away. While William Karlsson could be available after round 2 I don’t really see him as the kind of offensively dynamic player you want your first line center to be. Realisticly the only centers Sweden have that would trump Carlsson at all in that role is Pettersson, Zibanejad, Lindholm and Bäckström.

Andersson and Renberg know this aswell they probably just want something to talk about for the viewers.

More Dusan than Renberg, who I thought didn't leave much up for debate.

That’s kind of Dusan’s role though he’s the guy who asks questions. While Renbergs job is to have an opinion.

Damn did Sandin ever look good yesterday. I think Toronto might have done a terrible mistake trading him away.

Never understood it at all. They traded him for Gustafsson and a late first. They would’ve been better off just trading him for the first. Sandin is a lot younger and was already a significantly better defenseman than Gus. Toronto just utilized him very poorly.

You argument does not hold. If it was NHL playoffs, Erik Karlsson and the other swedes who declined would have played in it. So why cant they play in WC? WC could be their Stanley Cup.
You obviously don't have a wife?

Toronto wanted to bet on experience and toughness in this playoff run. Sandin doesn't have a lot of experience and isn't a tough playoff type of player either, so they traded him. Dubas simply didn't trust Sandin, he doesn't trust Liljegren either, I think both were HS last playoff.
