Pathetic decision by Karlsson. He didn't win anything in his senior career and he declined. No words really.
While it is dissapointing that EK isnt coming, I will never judge someone for staying home with family after a long season, especially not when they have small kids and we do not know everything that's going on behind.

You argument does not hold. If it was NHL playoffs, Erik Karlsson and the other swedes who declined would have played in it. So why cant they play in WC? WC could be their Stanley Cup.

You always seem so angry and dramatic.
Karlsson carried the team (alongside Lundqvist) to the 2014 Olympic finals. Led the tournament in scoring, led the team in minutes, zero goals allowed with him on the ice.
Yeah I tend to be a bit dramatic, sorry.
Will not apologize for being angry at that lemonsauce guy though.
I don’t really care what he did 9 years ago in a best on best. He hasn’t done a single thing in the worlds since 2012 despite having multiple opportunities to play. He always finds a reason to decline. At this point its getting ridiculous.
I don’t really think you should accept if you don’t feel like it, but when you never feel like it except when all the cool kids are there, then I am not sure you should represent tre kronor at all.

Whats the deal with Victor Olofsson? He had 40 points in NHL this season. We need all the help we can get. Yes he is a ghost 5 vs 5, but on powerplay he is deadly.
No idea the SIF have been awfully quiet this year. Usually they have had a ”NHL-Läget inför VM” spread sheet up for about a week this time of year.
But all teams have a ton of declines this year. So I’m assuming this is what they get.
