So far, I have the feeling that Hallam will build a team of young players from the NHL and players from Europe will provide the necessary experience. If Edmonton advances over LA, I'd definitely call Kempe or Grundström. But I hope that these Euro players will not play on PP, but EP, Raymond or Dahlin.

Lineup changes for Sweden:

Among a lot of other changes to the forward lines Carlsson moves up to 1C between Petersson, & Brännström.

Brilliant! Really like Brännström, not overwhelmingly good stats but its hard to produce points in Luleå.

Sylvegård has probably been the best forward overall for Sweden.

Petersson doing his best to murder puck possesion created by Carlsson and Brännström.

Borgman is still Borgman.

And SVT FFS get Ekman off the air.

Petersson waking up.

Ekman saying Ekman things ”Everberg is one of the players on this team closest to making it to the worlds”

Ekman ”Bratt wouldn’t be unlikely since Jersey probably gets eliminated” last time I checked his contract is up. So no.

Lol Hallam said too much when asked if any NHL players were confirmed.

Yes, when it comes to bottom line forwards, I'd much rather bring Sylvegård and Lang then Everberg, Rasmussen etc

What do we think of Jacob Johanssons chances? I thought he was just a warm body until a better option was available, but now he has played two games and has two shutouts. Doesn't seem like an NHL goalie will be available, at least not to start the tournament

Yes, it’s tough indeed. Brännström isn’t the most consistent point producer, nor is he the most skilled, but his motor is great, he usually picks the straightest path to the net, and does everything quite well. This actually ended up being a career year for him, but it seemed like he was hot for the first and last 10 games of the season, and average in between. Always a hard worker though.

I think his versatility increases his chances to make the team. He can have a role in an energy line and move up to a scoring line if need be.

Not meaning to ask the same question again, but anything more after the Aftonbladet story about Dahlin going?

Wondering the same thing not specifically about Dahlin though.

Nice with Lindberg back. Not shocked Dahlén got cut, he is never good in tre kronor. Anyways seems like Nils Ekman was right that many players from these euro challenge squads will make wc lmao.

On the other hand, I don't think there was ever going to be any big changes between these games. The SHL finals are still ongoing, so there hasn't really been many new players available. Once we see the Czech Hockey Games roster, we will get a good idea of what the squad is. The Czech Hockey Games roster will more or less be the WC squad, only some first round exits will be added.

Yes, Tömmernes is a lock for Czech Hockey Games if he wants to come. Jesper Olofsson has been very productive, so he should get a shot as well. Omark, I don't know if he still wants to play internationally. Viktor Lööv, nah, not a fan of his.
