PL ready/experienced forward is all we’ve heard
And some names have come out recently, but they also said they wanted to keep the stuff more quiet after Olise was public. One of the names was Edwards, and Matt Law said that happened weeks ago, but didn't really go anywhere, and Barcola has been dead since Santos was loaned.

Does it, though? Roma can just offer whatever they want because they’ll likely be the only show in town again. They also have no money, not sure they’d want to spend that on a 31-year-old Lukaku no matter how he does.
Inter wanted him, but Lukaku screwed around with them, so they left. Juve wanted him, but couldn't move Vlahovic. If he does well, a release clause for anyone to trigger is much better than giving just Roma and option to purchase. We may very well end up doing the same song and dance next summer, but at least there is a reasonable release clause if he performs well, and he agreed to a permanent wage cut.

Chalobah, Cucurella, Lukaku, Hudson Odoi, Malang Sarr were the remaining guys who needed to be dealt with.

Lukaku has been here we go’d. The other three are in very concrete rumors.

Then there’s Malang Sarr.

And we still need an attacker.

Of the seven rumoured out so far we got...

- Balogun: Gone (Sold)
- Tierney: Gone (Season-long loan)
- Holding: Many reports about him going to Turkey
- Tavares: Many reports about him going to Aston Villa (loan move)
- Lokonga: Few reports about him going to Burnley
- Pepe: Turk clubs and Arsenal are trying to hash something out
- Cedric: Very quiet and it could be because he's a UFA next summer

Others...
- Many reports about Gabriel to Real Madrid, but I still can't see Arsenal selling so close to the end of the window.
- Some soft reports about ESR potentially leaving, but no word on if it would be on a loan or permanent deal (Chelsea is interested).
- Bonus: Arsenal made money off the Guendouzi signing to Lazio

In...
- Arsenal being stupid and looking at Eric Garcia on a loan. I just can't see Barca getting rid of anybody this close to the end of the window.

- Brasilian reports say that Arsenal representatives are in Brasil to finalise the deal for Moscardo.

- Megalodon rumours about Perr Schurrs to us.

- Megalodon rumours about Victor Nelsson to us as well.

- A random rumour about Kyle Walker-Peters to us.

- Another super random about Jules Kounde to us.

To be fair, he's french born in France.
It's ex french international Willy Sagnol (Bayern) who called him up for Georgia.
But your guy should know him since he has played and scored for Georgia already.

Yeah, I know. I‘m not sure how closely he follows the game.

Raphina to chelsea? Sure but for like 150. No reason to sell, so pull a brighton on them. Otherwise I’ll keep Raphina as it lessens Yamine’s load.

LOL, I’d carry him on my back for 150 million. I’d sell him for half that if a suitable replacement was available. Actually, if nobody else leaves we could just let him go and still have depth. That said, I’d rather offload Abde first. Anyway, he probably wouldn’t want to leave, but whatever happens we need to be careful with Yamal’s minutes. Yamal is good enough to start a good amount of matches, a majority even, but we still don’t want to overexert him.

he any good?

@Evilo would know better than I, but I’ve heard about him for the last year or so and he was putting up good numbers in L2.

Arteta knows Garcia from City. I’m seeing rumors of him to Girona too. I‘d rather just offload him than loan him and Girona has Arnau Martinez who we could try and get.

If you want Kounde get out the checkbook. No need to give him away on the cheap much less this late in the window. Arsenal would do better going after Todibo.

Leader of the decipaticons?

And don’t you forget it Starscream!

He's a deeply mediocre player, but he fits in the midfield way, way better than Mount.
Personally I'd say he's pretty good. Works very hard and is reliable on the ball. Always gets the most touches when he plays. Provides leadership. And his forward passing is quite underrated.

The reason why Spurs are willing to let him go is because he doesn't seem keen on extending and would prefer to get a fee for him now instead of next summer when he only has one year left on his contract. Our midfield depth is quite overkill right now too with him, Maddison, Bissouma, Sarr, Bentancur, Lo Celso and Skipp.

United going out of their way to get even less athletic is a choice

If you are talking about Hojbjerg I'm not entirely sure I understand. He's not the fastest player but he has fantastic stamina and is a keen presser. Barely misses a game so he eats a lot of minutes.

Happiest team in the EPL. Chelsea? They scammed Arsenal/Man United for Havertz and Mount.

I'm not particularly happy with what Arsenal paid for Havertz (or even necessarily the player himself), but I would say our part in making Chelsea overpay by at least that much for Caicedo balances it out, without even counting the previous overpay for Mudryk, who barely even plays.

I think that's harsh. He's a perfect 4th or 5th option at MF for an attacking club like Spurs where he can come in to protect a lead for 25 minutes where his lack of skill won't hurt you. He's the ideal defensive MF sub.

I hope Spurs keep him, even if that means he leaves on a free.
