I mean I'd love to be rich as him. But the dudes a loser. He had an easy out to West Ham to still be a f***ing captain somehow and get his career back on track and turned it down over money(which he is rightfully owed). But now that it's a week before the deadline he finally wants a move?Idk man I’d love to be as rich as that loser. Y’all soured on him later than non united fans but guys living life lol
How dare he not take a paycut.I mean I'd love to be rich as him. But the dudes a loser. It’s arguably worse to be Malang Sarr at Chelsea who is making over 100k a week, and the manager doesn’t even know who he isIdk man I’d love to be as rich as that loser. Y’all soured on him later than non united fans but guys living life lol
I mean I said he's rightfully owed that money. He would've gotten ~125k a week from West Ham. plus a 6-7mil payout from United a month ago. That's ~12.5mil this year alone. Idk how much he'd lose in that scenario, but getting 12.5 mil this year alone plus getting a captaincy role while not being 4th choice and potentially losing out on his England spot and captaincy isn't that shitty of an outcome. How dare he not take a paycut.
Loan move means his current wages will be covered.
If he goes, it's because he wants to play football. Is it possible that Maguire is going for the money not for the money but as personal revenge? (I.e., massive bitterness at his ManU career and taking it out the club?)
Injustice (perceived or real) can be a massive motivator lol.
I mean he already had that chance though…?If he goes, it's because he wants to play football.
Homegrown and fits in quite a few positions where we could use some depth. I understand the thinking, and if the price is mitigated by Sanchez going the other way, even better.Brentford rival Tottenham move for Brennan Johnson with late £40m club-record offer
Spurs are still thought to be favourites for Wales forward's signature but Thomas Frank's side have upped their offer for priority targetwww.telegraph.co.uk
I understand this even less now.
While Johnson was quite productive on a low-scoring team last season, if you dive into more specific statistics he seems to be bad at an awful lot of things. But at the same time you have the very data-driven Brentford looking to smash their transfer record by a large margin for him.
I don’t understand the Maguire rumors at this point and doubt it happens. They’ve already got Zouma, Aguerd, Ogbonna, and Mavrapanos. Plus Kehrer who is a CB that’s played RB generally for us, but big brain Moyes is actually trying him some at DM.
Aguerd will miss some time for AFCON, but still not a pressing need and certainly from the player side if it’s game time he wants, not sure West Ham is the place. He’s not a starter.
And he turned them down already. Maybe it’s just now hitting him that not playing at all during Euro year is bad thing. Maybe it’s all bullshit. But from everything it seems like playing isn’t his biggest priority right now.The argument is he would like to play in the EPL, and in a system where he can demonstrate his talents. I think West Ham can do that.
They tried a 3ATB system a bit in the preseason and bit early on last season, but very sparingly since. If that’s what he’s banking on, he’s misinformed. I don’t see how being a late game closer advances his goals - he’s still not playing regularly and out of the England picture.I guess I think he feels it's a place where he would fit how they play. Maybe they'll play some with 3 at the back? i know Moyes might throw in a third CB when they're up.
