Credit to the Canadians but this was one of the poorest efforts I’ve seen of the Belgians.
Croatia will be tough too.

That hurts. Badly outplayed the #2 ranked team in the world and just no finish. And blow a penalty. And Belgium converts on one of their only chances of the game.

On one hand if they play that well in the next games, they can win them. On the other hand, I doubt either of our next two opponents will be as slow or dire as Belgium was today. They were there for the taking, and look like a spent force.

If we were a European nation there would be so much more noise about the two missed penalties by the refs.

Tragic that the first one was botched by the linesman and the VAR clearly screwed up the Laryea one.
