It's interesting that it looks just like a starting lineup. And all the more interesting that Roslovic isn't on the list. And no Boqvist either.
Coach did say expect the last couple games to be close to the opening night lineup. I wouldnt read much into Boqvist/Blankenburg being out though with Bean needing a look and it being a back to back. I suspect theyll get big roles in Washington to prove themselvesIt's interesting that it looks just like a starting lineup. And all the more interesting that Roslovic isn't on the list. Every time a new roster is published it's like a game of "Who's missing".
Also first time for Jake Bean in a game in a long time, isn't it?
Is Olivier gonna be on the PK?
Aside from being a permanent fixture in front of the net all night , including the powerplay , he’s able to make plays like this … 6ft 4 240 , the Russian bear . Jackets have been looking for a net presence for what seems to be an eternity . Starting to wonder if Robinson is moved soon. What makes you say that ? I felt he was still a bit slow at times
Voronkov's thing will be it doesnt matter how big and strong you are if you cant keep up to the play. Will be interesting to follow but hopefully he cuts some weight to a more manageable playing weight in Cleveland to start.Aside from being a permanent fixture in front of the net all night , including the powerplay , he’s able to make plays like this … 6ft 4 240 , the Russian bear . I wouldnt go that far but he is looking more comfortable. But regardless, carrying that much weight and playing an NHL schedule is not something many have the genetics to do at a high level. I think he'll find balance but it will take a bit of time for him to see where he feels bestLast 2 games he’s been one of our best forwards on the ice

If Bean is fully healthy and proves he's as good as anybody playing at 3LD, Thursday's game vs Caps could be critical for Boqvist. To me he's been worse than any other RHD competing for final roster spots (Blanks, Peeke, Jiricek). Is there a team willing to give up a 1st/2nd round pick for him?Coach did say expect the last couple games to be close to the opening night lineup. Your last line is the key. I agree. He's so big that I think it's hurting what agility he does have. I'd expect part of how he improves over the season is just the normal slimming down all the players go through as the year goes. I'm content with wherever he starts because he won't be in Cleveland long if he is sent down.I’ve been up and down on Voronkov and haven’t seen too much of the prospect tournament and preseason, but, he quite clearly brings things to the ice that literally no other CBJ forward/player brings. I think he moves fine. Fast skating and one timers isn’t hockey, and Voronkov seems to read the game very well.
With his combo of size/strength and decent offensive ability, he is going to be a great weapon/asset screening the goalie and around the net in general. I’d probably put him on the 1st PP right now.
It will be interesting to see him possibly drop a few pounds and add some speed and try playing center.
Still nothing. Have to assume they’re both headed to IRAnything on Chinakhov or Tarasov?
Right now he's probably only worth a second straight up. Florida would be a good spot for him as it seems like every Dman they have is left handed but they don't have cap. I always been interested to kick the tires around there to see what it would cost to part with Spencer Knight anyways. I am sure they though would be more interested in Peeke in this situation (and so would Peeke as he's from the area)If Bean is fully healthy and proves he's as good as anybody playing at 3LD, Thursday's game vs Caps could be critical for Boqvist. Wouldn’t be surprised. Tomorrows lineup is probably going to be all bubble guys (Foudy, olivier, Sillinger, Voronkov, blanks), juniors/young guys (Jiricek, Mateychuk, dumais), and minor leaguers (Christiansen, Gaunce, Dunne, Mckown)Weird spot to have Sillinger but I guess its probably just to get reps. Wonder if he plays tomorrow also
They had Anderson start in Cleveland a few years back (17-18) for one game. Can't remember exactly, but I think he could only play one game and had to go back.I wonder if it’s likely (or even allowed?) for Bean and olivier to start in Cleveland on a conditioning stint. Would allow us a chance to keep Foudy/Blanks around for a little while longer.
Also have to assume Tarasov and Chinakhov will go on IR, and once healthy, be assigned on conditioning stints
vincent's whole "we don't distinguish center vs wing" thing only bodes well for sillinger to make the team. the top line seems pretty set and the middle six is going to be some combination of fantilli, johnson, jenner, texier, roslovic… with one open spot.Weird spot to have Sillinger but I guess its probably just to get reps.
