I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait for Armia to comeback and take Hoffman spot on the 4th line.

Pitlick can do that just fine. I don't like that MSL has him out of the lineup.

Devils won earlier today so they bumped Habs from 12th overall to 13th.

Sens beating Arizona 5-2 right now. So they would bump Habs back a spot as they would move ahead of Habs.

Habs were 12th overall before the game.

After their loss and other teams' results, they are now 16th.

If Colorado beats Vegas, they move ahead. Nashville is down 2-0 to Philly. If Nashville pull off a comeback and win, Preds will move ahead of Habs, too.

Yup, we currently sit 14th out of 16 teams in East. Isles & Columbus are the only 2 teams we're ahead of.

Too many sucky teams in West.

Minnesota is in Montreal Tuesday.

This is what our offence could look like in a few years without armia/dvo/Hoff/etc:

Slafkovsky - Bedard/2023 1st - Caufield
Anderson - Suzuki - Dach
Farrell - Beck - Mesar
Heineman - Evans - Gallagher
**PLD

And that's not even including the rest of our prospects we drafted + 2023 draft

As soon as next season the top 6 could look like

Caufield-Suzuki-2023 1st (Not playing him at C to start)
Slafkovsky-Dach-Farrell

And you have Anderson on the 3rd or whatever works at the time.

Is that not ridiculous or what. I've been staring at this lineup all night I can't believe how stacked it is.

Some of those players will be traded for a top RD if Mailloux/Barron don't pan out. Maybe even a goalie.

I agree with the shift of the top pick 2023 playing wing. Bedard would be an absolutely lethal scoring winger. Him and CC on opposite line would be deadly.

My dream for 2025...Laf offersheet.

Laf - Suzuki - Cole
Slaf - Dach - Bedard/Fantilli/Michkov
Farrell - Beck - Mesar
Heinemen - Evans - RHP

This offense could be ready as soon as next year.

Guhle - Hutson
Xhekaj - Harris
Mailloiux - Barron

The Habs not having their own 2024 2nd round pick makes it extremely tough to offer sheet someone like Laf. They’d either have to offer him less than $6.3 million (1st and 3rd) which the Rangers would match or more than $10.5 million (4 1sts) which the Habs won’t offer.

Oh good point....I was thinking a 7.5 to 8 mil deal for him. Wouldn't go higher....6.299 per would be matched for sure....ok....sign PLD it is.

Guys..............don't think we are drafting 1st overall again...............we will be in the top 10 but not 1OA again.....
If would be fantastic, but.............
I would be very happy to be drafting top 5 but thinking more around 7-10 range.

Heard a pundit say that among the 7 shortest players in NHL history, 4 were/are Habs. And we had no weekly growth charts speculation for any of them.
:sarcasm:

Who do you think are the 4?

Does MSL count as one of those players? Because he’s very short and would make the list.

I’ve also got P’tit David.
