Lets keep Miles Bryant tho

At this point when BB is canned who do they keep other than Gonzalez, Barmore, White and Judon? Douglas is a keeper on offense
Well at least Bryant isn't an a-hole and is dependable in showing up. But ya, point taken.

Matt Patricia and Joe Judge are gonna have a lot of work to do when they are running this team as GM/Head Coach.

I like Bo Nix. He's generally seen as more of a mid-1st round pick, though.
That honestly surprises me, but I don't follow college football outside of Oregon State and Univ of OR so there's that LOL I do know that every time I watch that kid play all I think is "I hope he's on the Pats next year". He's so freaking smart. He sees the entire field. Calm, humble, poised & confident in his ability.

Mac Jones' decision making is pure, idiotic, trash.

Having a better O-line, and/or actual WRs can't cure his endless stream of brain farts.

Having a better O-Line and receivers who can come out of the break means Mac would have more time to make decisions and wouldn't be rushing throws and making bad passes.

One of Brady's keys to success was having an O-Line that could hold long enough for him to throw and receivers that could get separation so he could fit the ball in a tight window.

How anyone can't see that is beyond me.

Well, I am also sick of the "Zappe sucks too" crowd. It doesn't matter if Zappe sucks. The starting QB cannot function right now. He just can't. He needs time off. Throw Zappe out there and if he sucks like everyone says then we're well on our way to a top pick. Win-win. I just don't want to see Mac out there anymore. It's painful to watch a kid absolutely crumble week after week. Let someone else take the abuse at this point.

So then start Will Grier. There's nothing more to see from a kid who kept fumbling in preseason against the f***ing Texans.

I don't give two shits about Will Grier. So fine, play Zappe OR Will Grier. People just get so offended of the thought of Zappe playing and it doesn't make any sense. Nobody has any idea if Grier is even worse than Zappe. He's been here long enough now. Maybe he's the worst of the three. But jfc let's lose our mind over what happened in a preseason game.

Bo Nix is a very good college QB who will be a career backup in the NFL. He’s a 5th year senior who will be 25 in February. He’s Mac Jones/Mitch Trubisky v 3.0.

Anyone with a top 5 pick who takes Bo Nix should be immediately fired into the sun…

Zappe will get the nod and go 3-0 as a starter and it will ruin the draft chances more.

How does Barnwell not understand that Bill doesn't want fresh voices in the coaches room that aren't from his circle of trust or cede control as GM? Bill wants his boys and puppets that he can manipulate because he has no interest in doing anything except in his way. Belichick has to be fired. The Patriots have no choice. Either rip the band aid off now and accept a little bit more pain for a better future, or continue to wallow at the bottom with a man who has sat and watched the game pass him by.

What I'm telling you is that the fact that Bill cut Zappe over the preseason because of that game tells you all you need to know about how Belichick thinks of him.

They just have to suck more than the Giants and Panthers, maybe the Bears get a little better when Fields returns and Cardinals look good with Murray back there.

Tank bowl coming up after the bye, should be entertaining.

Not just any tank bowl. It's the tank bowl to end all tank bowls. It's the super tank bowl.

Well at least Bryant isn't an a-hole and is dependable in showing up. But ya, point taken.

Matt Patricia and Joe Judge are gonna have a lot of work to do when they are running this team into the ground as GM/Head Coach.

The Pats are the lead story in the font page of the worldwide leader’s website.

I don’t know that axing Bill or making the switch to Zappe really do anything meaningful at this point.

We’re now looking at an entire 2nd half of a season without meaningful football.

They haven't played meaningful football since October came around and lost by a combined 73-3 or whatever it was in back to back weeks.

And what I am telling you is that the problem is the best QB on the team, Mac Jones, is not in a good place right now. He's mentally shot and needs to be built back up. He needs time away from playing. That's all I am saying. It doesn't mean Zappe is better or more talented. But I think the Patriots would be doing a disservice to Mac Jones at this point if they keep trotting him out there and they would also be doing a disservice to the rest of the team. If you want to blame the Patriots for breaking Mac Jones I won't argue with you. But you can't continue to play a guy who is constantly making dumbass mistakes.

To be clear, I agree with this. But I am not making the switch to Zappe thinking he will resurrect the team. I am making the switch to backup QB x (I won't say Zappe specifically because for some reason people get triggered) because I think Mac Jones is broken mentally right now. I don't think he needs to take any more abuse out there. He is a headcase at the moment and I think time away from the spotlight as the starting QB is the best thing this dumpster fire of an organization can do. Cut the kid a break. Let someone else take some heat.

That's hilarious and would be truly something very Patriot to have happen, but we all know he's going to do literally no better because the roster is shit. It's not on him either when it happens. It's a bad job done by the clown running all phases of this organization.

If they run the ball like last game, they'll have a good shot this week

This Giants game in 2 weeks could determine what the next 15 years of Patriots football looks like.

Unfortunately I just can’t see them (or anyone) losing to a team led by Tommy Devito. I think the Giants and Panthers have the 1 and 2 picks locked up.

At least there's a chance Bryce Young gets hot and wins the Panthers a couple games. I think the Giants are absolutely the best candidate to go full tank mode and not win another game all year. And if I were picking a winner right now, I think the Patriots will beat the Giants in a massive pillow fight.
