I actually heard RJ Bell talk about this before that sometimes bad QB play can lead to more points than expected because of pick 6s/turnovers that set other teams up.
Makes sense. I just thought both offenses are so bad that it wouldn't matter unless there was at least two defensive touchdowns. Not even halftime and the over hits

Well this hurts the tank
I think the worst case is the Patriots pick 5th. You're talking about drafting Daniels, Bowers, Nabers or one of the tackles then. Don't think the Patriots beat the Chiefs, resurgent Broncos on the road or the Bills on the road. If they beat the Jets and end with 4 wins then you probably need other teams to win with tough schedules to win a game to pick top 3.

Jets and Commanders still have to play each other and so do the Bears and Cardinals. If i understand the tiebreakers right now if the Patriots win one game, the Giants, Commanders, Bears and Titans all lose out then the top 5 would go. Bears, Bears, Giants, Patriots and Commanders.

Bears still have the Falcons and Browns to play if they don't beat the Cardinals
Cardinals still have the Seahawks at home if they don't beat the Bears
Giants have the Saints
Jets still have the Browns

The rest of the games are all hard for the 3-4 win teams

I think the Cards with Murray could win a couple more games down the stretch.

I like Peppers, would be a good guy to keep around, one of the few.

49ers at home, Bears on the road, Eagles on the road and Seahawks at home are how they end the season. Just need them to match the Patriots record to have the better pick. Best for the Patriots would be the Cardinals beating the Bears and the Bears beating the Falcons or Browns.

I just don't see it happening. Sadly.

I'd be stunned if there isn't some kind of mutual parting of ways after the season.

Belichick wants to break Shula's record. This team is too far away from being able to do that in a reasonable amount of time. If the Chargers are interested (and Staley's 100% getting fired), I think Belichick would jump at the chance to coach Herbert.

And Kraft would let me out of his contract because he knows the organization needs fresh blood, but he doesn't want to end on bad terms, especially with the way things ended with Brady here.

I hope KC has to play Cincy in the wildcard game.

Awful move by the Jags to not give Lawrence another week to recover.
