Devers HAS to SIT for a couple. These first pitch outs, mostly with men on base, are getting ridiculous.

Am I wrong that he’s standing much closer to the plater this year?

Maybe it’s just because he’s in a funk….but he doesn’t even look like he can hit a ball right now,

Duran and Hamilton on the basepaths would be LETHAL.

I hope the best for Pablo, but I'd be excited for Hammy to play.

What a stupid rule/call. The baserunner puts his head down in shame because he knows he's out. He isn't calling for a review because he knows he didn't have a path to home plate. I get the player safety measure for the rule to begin with but come on. Use some common sense.

The only good thing about this is you get to see an old school 80 year old manager do the slow walk on to the field to argue.

That's pretty terrible. How can you possibly look at that more than once and think that's the right call?

baseball in general is just a watered down cheap product compared to the dirt dog days, probably will never see games like the bloody sock ever again

As we creep closer to the draft, I have to say that I love how it's in-season. First MLB draft I've really looked into the prospects for. I'm starting to compile a meaningless list of guys I like.

Did Kluber get the worst save of all time tonight?

If not, I'd like to see the worst one. At least Kluber will give the real bullpen a rest by eating up the garbage innings.

Another excellent start. Crawford ERA down to a very decent 3.74.

The little man from Japan with a 450-foot bomb.

Devers has to sit tonight, no?

2-6-5 DP, Wong looking like Johnnie Bench.

Kike 0-5 with 7 left on base. More surprising, no K's.

Have to mention Arroyo's 5-5 with 4 RBi's and a HR. Out of the blue, looked like he was taking batting practice.

The young starting pitching coming into its own has been a treat to watch. Coupled with Paxton finding himself again.

Love to see it! Great signing by Bloom and co.

I think you just let him play out of whatever this is.

Guy is a legit piece behind the plate. Fun to watch! Has his WAR up to 1.7 this season by playing elite defense and being productive at the dish. I didn't realize he was 27 years old already. I think the Sox found a backstop for a while though. Makes the Mookie trade sting a little less that they got two good regulars in the deal.

Raised his average from like .225-.230 to .256 from one game

Would not be shocked if they went significantly underslot in the 1st round.
