It hasnt worked. Duran deserves to stay in the lineup. You want to win games or try and help a player who is struggling? He is trying to help Kike at the expense of Duran and that's not fair. 1. We need to keep this development of Duran going. 2. He's has the hot bat. 3. This is a big boy league. Cora knows this. Sorry, but Kike would should be sitting and Duran should still be starting.

There needs to be some leeway though, right? I just don’t see any reason to sit your hottest hitter. It sends a bad message. They’re already going into the break, so he’s going to have what, a week off?

I just think at this stage with him, he needs to see lefties more. His numbers this season against LHP aren't bad. He’s on fire currently.

End of the regular season could be interesting, sox ending with a 2 game set against the Rays at Fenway and then a 4 game set against the Orioles at Baltimore.

Ended up battling and getting thru 2 innings. Not sure if Cora’s going back to him a 3rd time. I just got in. Listened on the radio. Murphy has had command issues. He’s been very good since getting the call. Wasn’t going to be perfect 100% of the time.

He was just frustrating to watch and walked I think 3 guys in the 2nd, but managed to get out of it with only walking in 1 run.
