Reclamation does not have to be injured, just don't like the "lets throw stuff against the wall and see if it works"
I think reclamation is anyone who had prior success but is coming off a down year or years and you’re hoping to find the player’s high points again. So yes, can come from anywhere. Usually injury but not always.
Reclamation project. Definitely has been a fail but they traded an equal reclamation project in Taylor who has been just as useless to the team he’s on.
Story - was injured before he came here
You don’t give reclamation projects 140/6Y.

All volatile BP arms. I guess some are reclamations but the spot itself besides the higher end, late inning guys, are going to look like this. A few similar names like Bernardino and Schreiber (despite being out) are the same type of names but they just have turned into good arms out there. Still “reclamations” wouldn’t you say?
Also:
Duval is a reclamation they’ve had success with.
Paxton the most impactful so far.
I’ll say the Red Sox should not be relying on so many of these guys in key spots? I’d like an upgrade at positions. Less reclamation/prospects, more MLB talent. Hoping this off-season helps add to that and gets this going at both ends — I am a Chaim bloom guy who thinks his vision and execution needs time but also think he needs to be a bit aggressive here. Identify the guys and go get them — like he did with Yoshida, Story and Devers. Whitlock as well. Hoping Bello is next.
I do have my gripes with him that I haven’t really gone into detail around here.
