As I prepare for the unknown tonight in game 4, I feel sorry for Mazzulla. He wasn't ready to be HC, certainly not HC of a high profile team like the Celtics. He had nothing to do with how Wyc handled the Ime situation with the press, the players, the organization, and the fans. Brad did what he was told to do.
I am not educated enough about the going on inside the NBA to say if Mazzulla will recover from what happened to this team and the public quit of the stars of this team. Coaches always take the fall when the players fail to execute. Not sure what happens to a coach when the star players quit playing in a game. I will find out. As an older man, I will have zero forgiveness for these stars that stopped playing; I am discussed with the upper management and ownership of the Celtics. They inserted a big negative into the proud history of the Celtics I so loved. It is not Joe Mazzulla's fault he was put into this position. We should be proud of him for falling on the sword as he did for game # 3.
In game four tonight, I hope the ball goes in for Al Horford so he goes out knowing he had great game.
.
As for game 4, I hope they lose and end the misery of this season.
Tatum and Brown must be split up. Tatum needs to grow up, and Brown needs to play elsewhere. Lots of off-season work to be done by the General Manager. Usually, I would say Brad Stevens, but he may be the fall guy and be fired so Wyc can hold his head high.
