Just like the sixers game 7 clunker of an effort (yeah Tatum was on fire but still sixers were horrific) The Celts are bound to do the same over the course of a series. Which makes it so imperative that winnable games are won. Game 1 and 2 failures are equally horrid to last nights blow out and even more symbolic of their inability to close.

Blowing the team up is so dumb that if someone in the front office even brought it up they should be fired. No worries with the Brown contract, he either signs the super max or turns it down and he's being traded, he's not walking in free agency like Kyrie but i'm just short of calling it a lock that he's re-signing.

What the Celtics need is a qualified coach who can get them playing defense like last year and a few half court sets to get players designed open looks. They do need a starting level guard who can handle the ball better than any guard currently on the roster and then it's just about getting the right depth who can actually play in the playoffs if there's certain matchups or injuries. No giving up assets for the Mike Muscala's of the league

What are your thoughts on RW with his injuries & ailments ? I would like him to develop a mid to close range jumper to accompany his above the rim baskets.

Aren't we saying the same thing?
If Jim Montgomery's AKA is Fredo. Or, are you are making a reference to The Godfather? I never saw the whole thing. And I never saw part 2, which is supposedly superior.

In any case, there appear to be parallels. And beyond that, to use the language of The Academy, there's a f*** load of unpacking to do.

I only know two Fredos, and Al is a delight, so yes, the Godfather.

I don't think he will ever develop more of a offensive game, bigs like him rarely do and he will always be injury prone but he gives you elite rim protection when healthy so even if he never improves he's a great piece for any contender

I agree with them if that's how the players feel. They were 42-17 when Mazzulla was the interim coach and the players may have felt like there was a chance Udoka would come back and since Mazzulla was made permanent coach they have gone 22-16. If the season ends tomorrow there's going to be a lot of leaks if there's some already coming out.

Hell baby
tbh they should grow up if that’s the case

I don’t think they would’ve won so much for Mazzulla if they wanted somebody else to be coach though, that doesn’t make much sense to me

If it's even partially true they all need to grow the f*** up.

I think it's obvious who had the biggest issue with Udoka's firing, which the Celtics clearly did not want to do but felt like they had no choice.

That person has had one foot out the door all season, so I'm not surprised.

Also, what the f*** is wrong with this team? Almost every other group waits until they've actually been eliminated to spill the dirty tea. These losers are doing it before game 4.

Some of these guys knew and had a relationship with Udoka from Team USA, they wanted him as the coach and i think most people would feel a certain type of way if a friend or someone they respected lost their job over something you didn't find worthy of being fired over. That's not even looking at it competitively either, the front office made their team worse, now having a coach who's clearly not ready to be a head coach and for what? Ime Udoka didn't commit a crime, the league didn't suspend him and he's already a head coach for another team. I get it if they are pissed off at the team. When these decisions have a big impact on the players personally of course it's not something they are just going to get over.

This isn't surprising at all. The initial comments from all the players told you everything you needed to know at the time.

They're professionals. Act like it. Something Ime clearly couldn't do.

Also, do you really think Udoka didn't do something worthy of being fired? You think the Celts wanted to do this? You think they made this decision willy nilly right before the season started with no good replacement?
