Pritchard. Hauser. Kornet. THEY look like they're into it.

Meanwhile our superstars are sitting on a bench because they didn't show up again. Pathetic.

Udoka should of kept it in his f***ing pants. He thought with the wrong head. He's a dumbass.
Maybe not, he sat out a year with pay I think, and now he is the Houston HC, and he is away from the Celtic player issues.
obviously a tough situation with udoka but this is on brad for extending him for no reason without him proving himself in the playoffs
Bingo .. .Winner

Again, who cares about the extension so long as it doesn't mean they keep hi to save money?

It gave him legitimacy going into the post-season. Now, that has not mattered one iota, but how could they have known that before? Things wouldn't be any different if he still had the interim tag right now.

If they retain him and the extension is the reason why then I'll be pissed.

I knew it was over when they missed their first few shots....this team is so fragile and if someone misses the attitude is oh it's ok to keep missing and hucking up 3s

said it before and will say it again....bad shooting on this team is contagious

and it seems like they have been coached to just keep taking stupid shots instead of trying to drive to the basket

just keep doing what we are doing with the same players even if its not working

The titles mean nothing. It is about retaining Mazzulla as HC, a change must be made as soon as the season ends for the Celtics. He is young, keep him with the team.

As for the players some must go, they quit on themselves, the Boston fans and their sport. The Jays must be split, the experiment is over, it failed. Brown probably is the choice. Horford has to retire. RW III must be traded can't afford him taking a spot for what he delivers. Move on. This experiment did not work.

I hope Brown, Tatum, Mazulla and all this clowns are out of this team next season. I’d rather lose every single game next season than watch this clowns in green. Screw them.
I feel the same way about the Celtics as the Bruins. Would be happy to never see any of the coaches/players suit up for their respective teams again. Never been so disgusted in my 25ish years of being a Boston sports fan as I am with this spring.

TD Garden. The home of gutless, spineless pukes.

What's this going to be the 4th coach in 3 years?

When are people going to realize the coach is not the issue

There's something liberating about a game like last night.

I feel a million times less stressed and disappointed than I did after the first two. Disgusted, sure, but overall much less upset.

I don't know. The issue wasn't just last nights game, but it felt like a last nail in the coffin for this group of Tatum, Brown, Smart and Horford. It's unlikely that these guys are going to get it done in the future. Other teams have MVPs and also getting better. Jokic, Giannis, Embiid (even the Sixers can get better). The Celtics don't even have a player finishing top 3 in MVP voting (for the record: I believe Tatum can and will be top 3 at least once). Other superstars like Doncic and Ja Morant coming up and the older stars still exist.

At this point I am very close to sacrificing the future for a shorter, but more realistic title window. Translation: Trading Brown for an older star like Durant. The Suns may feel that they have a longer window with Booker and Brown and it feels like Durant to the C's is long overdue. Or a 3 way deal has to be found to bring a guy like Lillard to Boston.

The Tatum/Brown + Smart core may have very well reached its ceiling. That's why I have a hard time being angry. This group IMO has never been likable (minus Horford, whom I really feel sorry for and maybe Rob Williams) and players like Brown and Smart just don't have a much higher ceiling, probably not even Tatum.

If it was me, I'd shake things up, but it's gonna be difficult. Superstars trades rarely happen, but I'd deal Tatum for Doncic, even though both teams would never do it.

Boy did this exciting spring of duck boat parades blow up in everyone's faces. If there wasn't a transit hub at the Garden they should just tear it down and build somewhere new. That building is cursed

I’ve never been one to consider breaking up the Jays before but I really don’t know if you can give Jaylen a supermax this offseason. Maybe it’s time to blow it up and build something new around Tatum.
