I wouldn’t because it’s hard to win in the NBA when you’re young. Jordan was 28 his first championship, James 27, Durant 28, Shaq 27, Giannis 26, Dirk 32, etc.

I think the best plan is just riding it out with Tatum and Brown and eventually they’ll figure it out.
As pissed off as I am, they do need to stick with them, they are young elite talent.

Game 1 is on Mazzulla for not calling a TO in the 3rd. Game 2 is on Jaylen for playing the worst game of his career. We aren’t going to win the series if he’s going to play worse than a few of Miami’s undrafted guys

Thought Tatum was very good last night

First off, it's called Playoff Jimmy. So clutch it makes me a fan and sick at the same time. Where would we be if we made the proposed trade of Brown for Butler, a few years ago. The ultimate leader by example this team is missing.
Smart loses his mind trying to play beyond his ability. Delusions of grandeur.
J. Brown as very high athleticism and very low basketball IQ(consistently dribbling like Bambi into 4 defenders without ever looking to pass.) NOT A MAX PLAYER!!

Coach is in over his head, but what did they expect, plus Spoelstra(who reminds me of a cross between Tattoo from Fantasy Island and Paul E Bearer for the WWF) is a top 3 coach in the NBA.

I just thought about Jaylen’s lazy turnover inbounding the ball. Would’ve stapled him to the bench after that.

Jaylen did play awful but Mazzulla has the option to bench him, he chose to play him every second of the 4Q while he was a liability on offense and defense all night when no one else on the team even played 10 minutes in the 4th. He's an awful coach that is a huge difference in these two games where you have lost by 7 and 6 points.

This is just unacceptable. Smart, horford and JB are killing this team. Tough to do much about JB, but I think it’s time to have smart come off the bench and horford too.

Spoelstra is the best coach in the league and I think he has been for years now

He’s won absolutely nothing without lebron and was the head coach of the biggest upset in nba history when the mavs beat the heat in 2011.

Why are the Heat an 8 (technically 7) seed anyway? Does Jimmy Butler just wait until April to get started and then dominate? Because from what I've seen the last couple years outside of Curry/Thompson he's the most dominant player in the world come playoff time.

I haven't watched these teams all year long, is the general thought right now that the Celtics are still better as a team and should make a series of it, or is it curtains because Spoelstra found something that Mazzulla can't match?

I was keeping tabs on the Celtics during it. Once I saw it get into the 100's I had a bad feeling the Celtics were not doing well.

They just aren't a cohesive contender with things together. Brown's ego and low basketball IQ, the absolutely terrible coach, and yes, even Tatum's softness are major problems. Tatum reminds me for all the world of young Bob Mcadoo. Although I think he will have a better career.

We are 4-5 at home in these playoffs. That is unbelievably bad in the NBA. (The other three teams left haven't lost a single game at home yet, which is the norm).

*sigh*

But Brown is only 26, and Tatum is only 25. Which is still young for championship level talent in the NBA.

It's just a bummer that they seem to have not learned from some of their past experiences already.

Maybe a good coach would have the wherewithal to remind them of those lesson in an effective way at crucial times during the games, but obviously Mazzulla can't; hell, he can't even call a timeout when his team is being steamrolled. He is in WAY over his head.
