I’d love to flip Frederic or Merkulov or anyone else to push for JVRs spot. If he’s in the bottom 6 I really like his chance to succeed much more.Marchand-Zacha-Pastrnak

If Bergeron comes back he slots in at C and Brown comes out
I mean, with Shatt, he's gonna be in a competition with Mitchell, Regula, Walsh, and Zboril for the 6RD spot. His cap hit can be entirely buried in the minors if he can't hang with this team. Best case he works out and is a help on the PP without being too big of a liability 5v5, worst case we waive him and move on. Team had no problem sending Stralman down to the minors last year, I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with Shatt.I’m pretty happy with the low risk signings we’ve made. Only signing in really not a fan of is Shattenkirk.
And Shattenkirk should be light years ahead of Stralman.I mean, with Shatt, he's gonna be in a competition with Mitchell, Regula, Walsh, and Zboril for the 6RD spot. Forbort and Clifton...again I remind you the bruins D downright dominated the league...this included Forbort.Both. There wasn't a single player in two years that "fit" well with Forbort.
Clifton was the best option that kept him on the third pair and allowed both of them to play their preferential sides.
The PK in the regular season was actually just as good without him and at worst the same as when he wasn't injured.
im actually ok with it, I see it as an upgrade over Clifton (all my homies hate Connor Clifton)I’m pretty happy with the low risk signings we’ve made. Only signing in really not a fan of is Shattenkirk.
Hey that's me! One of those names that can go either way...Potato Patato.Weird post by me but here it goes:
I find most of the people that defend Forbort spell it Forbert. What's up with that?
Hoping Bo can become the next Marcus NaslundFrederic also threw 30 less hits last year than Boqvist has his entire career. I'm with you on moving on if he prices himself out, but points aren't the entire picture.
Frederic was also a borderline elite 5v5 defender last season, which is a big reason why Hall and Coyle were so much better with him then they were without him.
Yes. I like Freddy too. Just the fact that he gets chances to score is encouraging. If he can break through and start finishing some of them, he’ll be a solid player. I feel like this year will be big for him.I like Freddy and hope he signs a 1 year "prove it" type deal knowing more money is coming in. He seemed to be developing a puck possession type game late in the season that looked good. He was getting open more for shots - just needs to work on his accuracy and stop missing empty nets.
Schenn has a full NTC (which already makes it unlikely) and comes with a 6.5 mill cap hit until 2028-2029. Pass from meSomeone mentioned that St.Louis is very interested in Freddy. What if it’s Schenn for Freddy +?
Hall's second most common line mates were Krejci and Pasta for 150min and then Krejci ZachaThe "without" option was Smith was it not?
Playing with 2 4th lines might not be the way to go tho.Marchand-Zacha-Pastrnak

He's not an upgrade on Clifton at this point, but he's way cheaper and easily disposed of if necessary.im actually ok with it, I see it as an upgrade over Clifton (all my homies hate Connor Clifton)
This looks good...I likeI get kind of a MoJo feeling with Boqvist. Johansson was a great fit for Coyle in ‘19, and Bowvist has that puck carrying ability that Mojo and Hall shared.
March - Bergy - DeBrusk
JVR - Zacha - Pastrnak
Boqvist - Coyle - Geekie
Lucic - Brown - Lauko
I really like the Grzelcyk/SJ/Hanifin three way deal @Mr. Make-Believe proposed too…
Hanifin - McAvoy
Lindholm - Carlo
Lohrei - Shattenkirk
Swayman - Ullmark
