He obviously won't but that's a good attitude to haveFantili said he wanted to take the #1 spot from Bedard this summer.

I think a player wanting to be #1 shows their competitiveness. I think there's a fine line between being confident and being cocky. I remember when Barzal had interviews with GMs he said "pass up on me and see what happens" or even Caufield who said you're going to make the biggest mistake of your life passing up on me. Meanwhile a guy like Wright looked baffled at the thought of someone else passing up on him and said "my history should show that I deserve to go #1" which isn't the same thing and is more arrogant than anything.I'm not sure it is. If Yzerman said the same thing about Gretzky would that not be problematic? Showing a propensity for delusions of grandeur/narcissism? The only one with a shot at Bedard is Michkov if he announces he will join the NHL next year and move to a CHL team immediately (for example).
Fantilli is close to 3 PPG in the NCAA, Carlsson close to PPG in the SHL, Bedard 2PPG in the CHL. Nothing set in stone IMO, all 3 are having huge start of a season. He obviously won't but that's a good attitude to have
It's going to be sweet to have two of those guys when Florida falls off a cliffFantilli is close to 3 PPG in the NCAA, Carlsson close to PPG in the SHL, Bedard 2PPG in the CHL. Nothing set in stone IMO, all 3 are having huge start of a season.
It will be fun to compare them on the same stage next WJC.
If he work on his skating, he can be a good pick for Habs.
If Habs pick between 8-11, Sale, Allen, Wood, Stramel, Ritchie looks all good pick at this range.
Where's he projected to go in 2024? I'm assuming 1st round somewhere?Gabriel D’aigle is in the net for the 3rd period (Darveau is hurt) against Sherbrooke and Roy.
Top 10-15 in 2025Where's he projected to go in 2024? I'm assuming 1st round somewhere?
Florida has looked very vulnerable this season. I've seen two of their games and they are not close to being the same caliber of team as last season. They're definitely missing Huberdeau on the PP as it has looked stagnant. Barkov can't do it all by himself. With that being said, I think the best we can hope is a top 15 pick out of them, and it probably won't be in the top 10 (barring a lottery win). It's going to be sweet to have two of those guys when Florida falls off a cliff
not taking Stramel or Wood that high due to skating/speed. I have seen more of Wood and like what I see but in that range I think we can go with someone else there. Stramel I wasn't too impressed with but will see more of him plus his team is just terrible, Smilanic doesn't impress at all.
Yeah, no way I take either Stramel or Wood top 10.
Those numbers are absolutely crazy in a tougher league than junior OHL… since I don’t see Bedard approaching the McDavid pace of production this year… and Fantili is above Eichel’s one right now… when you also consider the difference of physical attributes, and that NHL teams still value those… I don’t think it’s that far fetched to imagine him giving Bedard a run for his money..He obviously won't but that's a good attitude to have

Such a great year to draft in the top 4. Four potential franchise/elite player.Fantilli is close to 3 PPG in the NCAA, Carlsson close to PPG in the SHL, Bedard 2PPG in the CHL. Nothing set in stone IMO, all 3 are having huge start of a season.

Don’t really see any way we’re able to get our way into the bottom 5 this year. Really unfortunate.
What your top 10 so far?
They good against Islanders last night. But I don't know Cats wellFlorida has looked very vulnerable this season. Another guy who will get consideration in the top 10/15 is Halttunen
He's ranked top-20 by just about everyone and is off to a good start in Finland
Hopefully not us. Really haven't liked his game for awhile. Perimeter volume shooter.
