I like Perreault. He's definitely a line driver and has insane playmaking and skills. I think the skating issues are overblown, he's not a burner but has okay technique and likes to slow the play down. He isn't short either at 5'11, with added weight and strenght it could catch up to the rest of his skillset enough that he's a very very good player.

On the other hand, I still can't talk myself into Moore as a top 10 pick. Yes, his skating is elite and with improvement in other facets the staking of skills might create a very nice player, but a lot needs to happen and it more than often doesn't. I would rather gamble on other players at this point.

Kakko is definitely not a bust. Kid had 18g, 40 pts this season while playing 3rd line, kid line duties. He just turned 22. He's really solid at both ends of the ice & is a fierce forechecker.

I don't even understand why he would've signed that contract when he knew he could play in the NHL right away. If it's true what he says about it being his dream to play in the NHL then he would likely be signing a huge 8 year deal by 21 instead of just starting an ELC.

I don't think he really had a say in the matter... it is the kind of offer you can't refuse...

PLD will be UFA in a year and could be signed for free then. Let him be traded to a contender for picks and wait for the UFA period.

Do not want to spend any asset for him... Especially not #17 OA in a stacked draft like this.
