Bobrov’s father works for St-Petersburg SKA who owns Mitchkov’s rights. Don’t think lack of insider info will be an issue.
Oh that's really interesting...

interesting! although barring any lottery changes, I doubt anaheim draft someone else though, they have centers, they have D prospects, they need wingers, plus they have Mintyukov as a fellow russian,I am pretty sure they draft michkovBobrov’s father works for St-Petersburg SKA who owns Mitchkov’s rights. They need to push Zegras to the wing IMO.interesting! although barring any lottery changes, I doubt anaheim draft someone else though, they have centers, they have D prospects, they need wingers, plus they have Mintyukov as a fellow russian,I am pretty sure they draft michkov

even if they do, smith is too similar to zegras, and benson will probably be a winger, next center is probably too much of a reach for the 4th spot. I dont see them passing on michkov (IF they draft 4th).They need to push Zegras to the wing IMO.
they could all be gone when they draft though..anyway theres no point of speculating before may 8th I guessThey will once they draft Bedard, Fantilli or Carlsson. They're getting one of them. Zegras will move to wing. McTavish stays at center. They also have Gaucher. That's 3 big boys down the middle who can easily support a pure skill guy like Zegras.
They're guaranteed a top 3 selectioneven if they do, smith is too similar to zegras, and benson will probably be a winger, next center is probably too much of a reach for the 4th spot. I dont see them passing on michkov (IF they draft 4th).
cant wait for the lottery lol

Anaheim finished last. They can't fall further than #3. Rebuild looking pretty much done, ffsThey will once they draft Bedard, Fantilli or Carlsson. They're getting one of them. Zegras will move to wing. McTavish stays at center. They also have Gaucher. That's 3 big boys down the middle who can easily support a pure skill guy like Zegras.
That’s good news. I feel like we are uniquely suited to take Michkov. The Russians have always seemed to like mtl.Bobrov’s father works for St-Petersburg SKA who owns Mitchkov’s rights. Don’t think lack of insider info will be an issue.
i love anaheims scouting and draftingThey will once they draft Bedard, Fantilli or Carlsson. They're getting one of them. Zegras will move to wing. McTavish stays at center. They also have Gaucher. That's 3 big boys down the middle who can easily support a pure skill guy like Zegras.
damn my bad! I am glad though, I think theres a better chance we draft michkov if anaheim had already picked.Anaheim finished last. They can't fall further than #3. They're drafting one of Bedard, Fantilli or Carlsson.
Smith and Dvorsky were both solid today, but neither wowed. Expected more. Still early in the tourney though.
Montreal has a lot of quality prospects and it's time to swing for the fence! So I think Michkov should be on the table. Especially considering they have another first round pick to fall back on. Michkov is the second best player in the draft and likely a star in the NHL. By the time he arrives in Montreal they should be ready to complete and will have Michkov on a entry level deal.
Molson will say no. Especially after the Mailloux situation.Montreal has a lot of quality prospects and it's time to swing for the fence! So I think Michkov should be on the table. Regarding our 2nd round pick...I really like Étienne Morin and Mathieu Cataford.
We should try to add another second rounder in order to draft both of these great young players.
That’s good news. I feel like we are uniquely suited to take Michkov. The Russians have always seemed to like mtl.

The Gaucher pick looks better by the minute, and so does their D picks last year.
Benson can flat out play hockey. To me there is something aesthetically pleasing about watching him play that I don’t get with a lot of players. Maybe I over value hockey sense.Yeah, as I said, I dont like this, but when the players produce and look as good as Benson, I kinda make an exception. Plus he has the added benefit of his intensity.
Cant skate and cant shoot is a bit of an exaggeration, hes an above average skater IMO, just speed wise hes average, and he can shoot above average too.
His IQ is tough to go against a guy like RHP doesnt have half the raw talent (shooting, skating but mainly hands) as Zack, but he sure as hell is a productive player, just this should be pretty encouraging IMO.
Plus hes gonna be coached by MSL.
Most impressive guy for me today was Cole Hutson. The players who wowed me today were Eiserman and Sale.
Sale gets slept on cause his club in Czechia is a joke, but in terms of offensive talent, he's one of the most talented 2023s.
Feel bad for Bjarnason, two fluke goals and then you're confidence is rattled and the next two shots you face are point blank with tons of time. See how he bounces back.
