Dvorsky with another 3 points (2 goals and 1 assist) today
He's 2 ppg in j20. Why did they drop him down a level?

Too much risk of drafting a futur superstar ?I wouldn't. Too much risk for me. Especially if Smith still on board.
I mean the player you draft could be ready in what 2-3 yrs ? Waiting 1-2 years longer to get a real superstar at a ELC is not a bad thingMolson might not accept drafting a player that won't be playing for the team for 4-5 years. And can rebuilding teams afford to take a player in a deep draft class that they might not ever see. If the Habs have 2 picks in the top 12 and say a 3rd late in the round they COULD risk it.
Why do they ever move 17 year old kids up and down a level... get their confidence going; maybe not enough ice time with the big club or they ask them to work on specific skillsHe's 2 ppg in j20. Why did they drop him down a level?
I like your Brindley ranking. I think Dvorsky is way too low, but nice ranking nonetheless.Alright, time to be eviscerated:

To try something a little different, I added tiers to sort of give an idea as to my happiness level at certain pick ranges. If the player's corresponding tier is equivalent or -1 (or -2), then I am very happy with the pick. If the player selected's tier is +1, then I am okay with it and could be convinced it's a solid pick. +2 and above is where I start getting a little more iffy.
Example: Habs end up with pick #9, which on this board would correspond with tier 4. If the player selected is Oliver Moore or David Reinbacher, I'm happy with the result. If it's Zach Benson (tier 3) that gets selected, I am over the moon. If it's Ryan Leonard (tier 5) that goes at #9, then I could rationalize the pick and be fine with it. If the Habs pick William Whitelaw at #9 (tier 6), then I'd be asking questions.
Edit: As a disclaimer, this is purely for fun and is a reflection of my experience watching these players while keeping some room for more professional opinions where I can admit to incomplete information. I am not a professional scout nor do I have the time and resources to put together film as some better posters here can.
Having said such, every player mentioned here has to have been seen on at least two occasions minimum and at least once in a club setting. As someone who has not seen any BCHL games, I cannot in good faith rank someone like Bradley Nadeau or Aydar Suniev.
On the positive side, I still think I've seen some of these players more than Craig Button.
Just noticed that Brindley had a 4 pts game yesterday, 2+2. Expect him to rise up the rankings in the 2nd half, kid is now used in all situations on Michigan.
Talking of Brindley, just scored on a nice one-timer from distance setted up by Fantilli, a beauty!I noticed that last night but I missed the game, apparently it was a nice showcase. Didn't affect my ranking and I'm not sure it would have either, as I think Brindley's point totals are starting to catch up to his actual play/ability.
There is the concern where having too many small players in an organization starts to take a toll on cup aspirations, but if Brindley dropped into the late first round (which I expect would be the earliest he'd go), then I would highly consider adding a pick to lock him up. He's someone I'd give another year or two in college, perhaps one AHL year if necessary and I think he could be counted on to be a legitimate NHL player out of the gate with his motor and skating. Could see him being an excellent glue guy who can play a multitude of roles across the top 9 once he's fully developed.
Michael Misa was with a bad knee injury last night. it's at the 4:13 mark
If Michkov falls and the Habs pass, that's some bullshit. This management group will not be drafting any Russians. So you guys need to stop the Michkov talk. It won’t be happening.
Brindley vs Benson, debate open!
Brindley listed at 5'9 170 lbs, Benson 5'9 160 lbs, 2 lightweights with high IQ, high compete and mad skills.
Max McCue is the douche, he's 19Absolutely brutal knee hit. Misa is only 15.

Benson 5th OV or Brindley with the Florida pick? No brainer.
But you would be happy to spend a 5th OV pick on Benson?I'd punch my TV if they used a top 15 pick on Brindley lmfao.
Benson quite easily for me. Top tier intelligence, can play centre or be a dominant winger. He’s the obvious leader on a team with two 19 year old Top 11 picks. He just seems to have that “it” factor.Brindley vs Benson, debate open!

Brindley can play both positions too, was used down the middle tonight, the IQ is high end as well. I would say Benson's offensive production in the WHL is the main reason why he is ahead on most lists, Brindley is just getting started on a stacked Wolverines team, his numbers will get more attention from now.Benson quite easily for me.
