No. I’m saying none of us know squat right now so the naturally tendency is to stick with the guys we know. Are we validating an unnecessary jab taken at another poster?

But that's not what the post you quoted was saying.No. I’m saying none of us know squat right now so the naturally tendency is to stick with the guys we know.
I quoted it to make my point. We all have knee jerk reactions. But that's not what the post you quoted was saying.
Your post is totally fine. However, when you align it with a post taking an unnecessary jab at another poster, the context of your post changes. It comes across as validation and agreement.I quoted it to make my point. We all have knee jerk reactions.

I probably prefer Suchanek a little more anyways so hopefully we can get him.Milic gone
Perron has excellent physical habits and is smart off puck, no reason he can't Crack the bottom six just because someone is small does not mean they are boom or bust.I seriously doubt 5’8 165 lb Jayden Perron has a future as a bottom six forward in the NHL.
Yes. Age curves are definitely a real thing, but there are players who can break them.Pohlkamp, defenseman, had 51 pts in 59 games in the USHL, but as a 19 year old. Last year as an 18 year old wasn't too impressive (18pts in 61, -9). Seems like they're taking a flyer here.
Guys who have gone though at least 1 year of draft eligibility without being picked. So basically guys that are already 18+, excluding early birthdays. What is an over ager? Someone who is already past their prime?
Blanket attacks can still be considered flames. You don't need to name names to take a shot at someone or group of someones.Unless I’m specifically naming names then perhaps, but the fact I used “some posters” removes the specificity of whatever they posted. It’s moot. I don’t see you having an issue with the guy who made the actual post attacking someone.
Yep, this one hurts little bit.To put things in perspective, with the Sharks original set of picks we could have had:
94: Perron
100: Lipinski
123: Minnetian
130: Sotheran
132: Mania
He’s 3/7 in my books. I like Smith, Musty and Cag.Somehow, I’m not surprised you don’t love the picks.
It’s kind of expected these days. This board is getting some serious hardliners who don’t like seeing criticism of the teamAre we validating an unnecessary jab taken at another poster?

Eh, you can make a list like that for every draft and for every team (and every poster, haha). It's more understandable in the top-half of the draft, but once you get out of the first you really have to wait for the results. We have no idea how these players are going to turn out, or where they would have been available.Yep, this one hurts little bit.
