Looking at the predraft rankings he seems a steal.

Pohlkamp, defenseman, had 51 pts in 59 games in the USHL, but as a 19 year old. Last year as an 18 year old wasn't too impressive (18pts in 61, -9). Seems like they're taking a flyer here.
