Fox has pretty elite edges though, that helps.

Anyway saying that Perrault is a bad skater is hysteria. He moves around fine.

He's 163 lbs. He'll grow and his skating will likely grow along with him.

Maybe but when you have his skills, hockey IQ, and "it" factor it still makes him a great player. Same thing with Robertson on Dallas. Not the fastest skater but a great player.

One of the most interesting aspects of this draft is the 3 linemates from the USNDTP all ranked in the top 15 of the draft . Even if we say all 1st rounders I'm not sure if that has ever happened before . We've seen 2 linemates go high ,,,,right off the top of my head Nathan MacKinnon and Jonathon Drouin. Scouts have looked ar Smith and Leonard being the keys to that line but I think there is evidence Perrault could have been more key than leonard. It will be interesting comparing their careers.

Cristall can't skate. If people are freaking out about Perrault, they'd be on suicide watch if we took Cristall.

That may be why Jovo likes him but no.

Being THAT elusive and getting the puck up ice like he does is so valuable. He's a 3 zone carrier, if thats the only thing he can do at the NHL level he's still an NHL player.

I've seen him get blown up once.


Also his numbers are pretty good across the board. If Russia were able to play at the U-18's he likely goes way higher than he did.
