Surprised Levis fell this far. Great pick, real solid player with some size and a nose for the net.

Yeah honestly Levis would have been a solid pick in 3rd round for me. He's a high value 7th round get.

All in all we get some really solid pickups this draft IMO.

Barlow ranked a little higher, as high as top 10 by many ranking services and falls to us. Strong kid, with a great release, not the strongest skater but goes to the tough spots and loves to finish his checks.

We get two fliers on some bigger kids who could be late bloomers. No problem with swinging for the fences here and there but we will just have to wait and see.

Then we snag Milic, the best goalie in the Dub by far and a kid who could give the Moose a long look as their starter. Then we snag Levis who many had ranked in the 2nd round and has a real nose for the net with some size and a lot of upside if he puts in the work.

I'd give this draft a solid B+ considering where we picked and who we got.

Overall I really like the draft. Just can't stand the Nehring pick, but that won't spoil the bunch.

I really liked the Jets' draft last season... Lots of talent, upside and depth.

With a 1st, 3rd, two 5ths and a 7th, I'm not sure you could really expect a boffo draft.

This year was all about adding a top talent with the 1st, and I think they did that with Barlow.

Pretty meh draft overall for the Jets, like Barlow though, if he develops well and one of these other guys manages to make it to becoming a depth piece we should be satisified.

Thankfully Jets have a full slate of picks in 2024. One pick in every round. Don’t give any of those away, Chevy.

Very pleased with the hold of the draft for the Jets! Nice Goalie addition late for sure.

Did the Habs, with picks 5 31 37 end up getting Newhook and Reinbacher? What a train wreck of a franchise.....had to stay all woke and not draft the Russian who was clearly the second most talented player in the draft because of UN politics?

Good job Jets team - still some heavy lifting to do this summer, but after the Dubois deal and the Draft.....begrudgingly back on the "in Chevy we trust" camp.

Cant wait for the youth tournament now :)

Barlow and Levis are kind of drops. Barlow ranked as high as 6 by Hockey Prospect and in the top 10 of many other lists. Levis was in a lot of people top 64's and top 100's.

The Habs took 2 Russians so I don't think it has anything to do with being "woke". They just preferred Reinbacher for better or worse.

Where are Bogdan Konyushkov (drafted by Montreal 110th) and Yevgeni Volokhin (drafted by Montreal 144th overall) from?

Or did Montreal take a player that seems very close to being NHL ready that fits a position of need that should be ready to play when Montreal needs him to play, as opposed to another forward who may or may not be available to come over 3+ years from now?
