He's from Minot, so I guess they're putting a significant premium on players who are least likely to be unhappy in Winnipeg. Quite rightly. Colby Barlow seemed to be a guy who'd be as happy curling as surfing.

Me neither. Shattuck is a good program but their top scorer had far more points and I think is draft eligible.

For a "draft and develop" org having just 2 picks in the first 4 rounds seems bad and increase the pressure to get every pick right.

Still most top prospects are long done with the program by their draft year. Not really a fan, seems like a massive long shot.
