Why? They dropped 5 spots and likely get the guy they would have picked regardless, which is confirmed with who they took

They did take Quinn over Rossi. The bigger player playing on the same team. Quinn, like Benson takes the puck to the net and has shown signs of a scoring ability that would translate to the nhl.

Agree with Quinn over Rossi. I went to a ton of 67s games that year and to me Quinn was the better pick. They also got great value with Peterka that year... still boggles my mind Ottawa passed on him.

We'll see, I don't hate Benson and agree the upside is definitely there. Just seems redundant to me with taking Savoie last year.

Who knows though... Buffalo definitely putting together a strong group. Going to be a PITA to play against for years to come.

It’s a great year to load up on 7th round picks and we accomplished that. No one else clued in.
