I think Carlsson goes 3, putting up huge numbers in the SHL and is a 6-3 C and does not have contract issues.. the real question for me is does mickov go #4?

In an ideal world, I would love to see our future like this:

Reichel-Fantilli/Carlsson-____________
Stenberg-Nazar/Dach-____________
Ludwinski-Greene-Hayes
Slaggert-Thompson-Savoie

Korchinski-Rinzel
Vlasic-__________
Kaiser-___________
Del Mastro-___________
Allan-__________
Harding-__________

Soderblom
Commesso
Basse

Six picks in the top three rounds 2023 and 2024. This is gonna be fun

I’ll be fine with two top 16 picks...regardless what #...so lose TB lose...

Matthew Wood and Ryan Leonard would be nice additions to our prospect forwards

Tampa just seems to not have it together. Older, tired, roster erosion. Hoping too 16 from
Them this year would be a nice get compared to thinking we will be in the late 20’s.

We are going to win some and lose a lot. The next few games will be a struggle to win. Surprised AZ is doing as well as they are.

Columbus takes another win. If the Ducks pull out the victory, we are two points out of last place. Didn’t take long did it?
Ducks will never and I think will be the hardest competition, I expected despite a lot of peoples talk, for Arizona to have some young player improvement and curb their chances. But it's baffling to still see Ducks fans defend John Gibson after it's now 4 years of being terrible. They put it all on the team, which is nonsense when he still has such bad goals and results. Fleury on a terrible team had 4 shutouts last year and a positive GAA

As long as we’re bottom 3 we’re good. This draft is pretty much can’t go wrong at the top.

It also depends on when Davidson starts pulling the plug on the season. Does he wait the deadline to make moves, or do players go out the door sooner than that?

Was listening to nhl radio and they were saying that there will be a run on D as most teams are looking for that. Either way, we should be able to be involved in trades even as a 3rd team to take on cap and picks.

Upto date draft seeding, Hawks have fallen back into lottery position...

1.Anaheim
2.Vancouver
3.San Jose
4.Columbus
5.Arizona
6.Ottawa
7.Buffalo
8.Washington
9.CHICAGO
10.Minnesota
11.Montreal
12.Calgary
13.St. Louis
14.Philadelphia
15.Pittsburgh
16.NY Rangers

Hawks would be picking #9, #26(TB), #41, #58(TB), #73 and #91(DAL)

At the moment we draft 8th pre-lotto draws...

Probably going to jockey with several teams below and above us nearby on the standibgs alk thexway to TDL...Hopefully we are at maybe 5th or 4th pre-lotto by TDL and then go into a top 3 pre-lotto after we sell off some vets at TDL (Toews,Kane Domi and AA, and a a vetcdman ...if we can get a decent return for them.
So hopefully by the end we are in better pre-lotto position than our current 8th pick slot.

No on is going to want a bottom pairing D ( on a good team) making 4mil with years left on his contract at the deadline.
Murphy is a fine middle pairing D, idk how many times this has to be explained.
More bashing of him because of who he was traded for.

If Connor Murphy is on your bottom pairing, you're probably the prohibitive favorite for the Stanley Cup if your team has any scoring whatsoever.

He isn't, he is a good bottom pairing Dman. No offense, average defensively, those are bottom pairing Dmen.

He is far too inconsistent to be a middle pairing Dman. Some times he plays like a 4th/5th type guy, more often than not he plays like a bottom pairing Dman.
