Yeah this is what I’ve been thinking recently. He’s not going to prove he’s the next great Russian player since Ovi by playing in the KHL. The only way to achieve his goal is by playing in the NHL.

I think I'd prefer Wood than Dvorsky or Leonard just based on potential. Still would prefer Benson and Smith over him though.

Curious though (and honestly have no idea), does it happen often that big guys that has as poor skating as Wood get drafted in the top 10? Obviously thinking about Robertson who dropped to the 2nd, but not sure if there are more recent examples.

I think the fan base has made it very clear that we will be mad if they pass on Michkov.

Yeah that's like 15 years ago? Just wondering based on historical data if he'll move down and we can snag him if we either trade-up or get another mid-round 1st.

Let's say we skip on Michkov and then end up drafting Benson, Wood and say Willander... that'd be a pretty good haul.

My preference is to draft whoevers left from the top 5 but if Hugo decides michkov is a ND then I love this trade ill be happy with any of Leonard dvorsky Benson reinbacher at #9 and at #17 hopefully one of asp, Moore, Perreault, Yager, wood, Danielson sale #29 hopefullt 1 of Willander But musty

Far worse. It’s ugly. At least Tkachuk goes through people. Wood is a skill player. You’re either getting Jason Robertson or Hugh Jessiman.

Pretty sure lower bowl is reserved for draftees, their families, season ticket holders and various sponsors. Usually only upper bowl is available for general public.

He's got a bite to his game. He's a really good playmaker, he's got skill. I like him.

He's got good skating, hands, vision and plays with an edge. He needs to be willing to shoot the puck more and work on his defensive game.

I think the upside could be Kadri, but the way he's trending right now looks more like Domi.
