If I am KH (I would slap myself in the face) but after that 1st day debacle. I would ONLY target boom/bust talent no matter their size, gender or nationality. This team has no offensive skills at all in the prospect pool, too many mediocre prospects, not enough contract to sign them all so find the guy that can surprise and become a difference maker ala Gaudreau or Kaprizov. Also, please for the love of god no more defenseman ever.

why would philly trade those picks if they knew michkov would be available at 7th?

it just doesn't make sense from their perspective.

also, reports are saying the habs did try to trade down but arizona was just as locked in on reinbacher at 6th.
