Kecle is advertising for vaccines, the single greatest life-saving invention in human history, and looney tunes people are mad about it. Amazing.

He's advertising for Pfizer, a company with an established pattern of criminal behaviour. They've been fined repeatedly for deceptive practices, corruption, bribery, etc. They aren't even legally allowed to advertise their products to consumers outside of the US. Opinions aside, Travis Kelce is working for a corporation that is well established to be, at the very least, disreputable.

My opinion is that Kelce doesn't care about vaccines at all. He's just doing what people do when presented with an opportunity to make some easy money.

I think you're lying to yourself if you believe the bulk of the backlash Kelce is getting is because of Pfizer specifically.

I was addressing the assertion that Kelce is somehow being noble or altruistic for promoting "the single greatest life-saving invention in human history." I don't think he should be vilified for putting money first, but he definitely shouldn't be applauded.

Wonder how long they last (I am going to guess they flame out early next year)

Her album inspired by breakup will probably be huge hit next summer
Sometimes I forget that Taylor is well into her 30's since her fanbase is a lot of teenagers. I mean, her fanbase ranges from teens to around age 40. Could honestly have mother daughters both being Swifties.

As for Taylor and Kelce, both born in 1989, so age wise it's a fit. Don't see this lasting much past October. She's on a break right now until mid October before she had to continue her tour.

C. Jones situation is getting weirder and weirder. Couldn't he be more like big bro Arthur than little bro Jon?

Travis Kelce gained 325K Instagram followers.

The Bears could have used the 9th pick on the best player in the draft, Jalen Carter.

The Bengals D was great and due to injury Burrow was not. I think they may have won w/o him and they could have avoided possible further injury to him. The LAR were 1/11 on third down conversions.

He has a history of bizarre behavior and I am pretty sure it was the reason he was traded out of New England right in his prime.

Basically, Jones showed up in the middle of night, half clothed and surrendered to police at a police station claiming to be overdosing from synthetic marijuana. The entire situation was bizarre. But his behavior at the cop shop was whacked out too. Cops said, he fell to his knees, locked his hands behind his head and flopped to his belly. The cops thought he was praying or something. No charges were filed, he was never a threat and nothing ever happened to him. He just got traded the next off season.

ummm this place needs a “eye roll” reaction. I am sure…it’s all about the money.

Just to be clear, Pfizer was found criminally negligent because they were bribing doctors to use their “generics” brands and that happened back in 2009 and as far as I can tell it was only the one time, so much for the “pattern of criminal behavior” claim. What it has to do with vaccinations or Kelce, I am at a loss of words.

Pfizer has a huge HQ in London which is separate from the US based company and there is NO ban on them advertising, so that’s an untruth you are repeating and unclear where you got that info. I assume like most lies, there’s always a shred of truth, there was a ban on all of the drug companies from advertising the CV19 vaccination but it WAS NOT a carpet ban on their products, just the CV19 vaccine. What the FDA guidelines have to do with the rest of the world is misguided.

Jeeez. Bettis and Rapeyburger with some Mensa like comments.

For the record, when you accuse a team of cheating, make sure you have your facts correct.

The accusation:

Hey, to be fair, the Patriots cheated,” Roethlisberger said.

“For sure they did,” Bettis replied. “It’s not even a question in my mind.”

Bettis focused in on one play in particular, with the Steelers staring at a 4th-and-1 situation at New England’s 39-yard line. Before the key snap, Bettis said that New England called a timeout — and then promptly snuffed out Bettis’ run up the middle to force a turnover on downs.

According to Bettis, the Patriots were able to anticipate Bettis’ run during the timeout because they were aware of the Steelers’ signs.

“Who normally goes to the sideline on timeouts? The defensive captains, right? They told the nose guard, [Ted] Washington, they pulled him to the sideline,” Bettis said. “Big 400-pound guy, he don’t want to go to the sideline and come all the way back,” Betts said. “What he want to go to the sideline for? … They stopped us on fourth down. That’s a critical play in the game.“

“They had our signs and they called a timeout to get them ready for that play because they knew it was coming. No question in my mind. I remember vividly because I thought, ‘Why is this big dude going to the sideline?’”

The facts:

This is far from the first time that the Patriots have been accused of cheating in critical games. But Bettis’ recollection of the events does have some major discrepancies.

For the record, Ted Washington was not even on the 2004 Patriots roster, and Bettis actually fumbled on the play, as seen here (go to the 3:15 mark for the play in question).

Oh, and the Patriots didn’t even call a timeout before this 4th-and-1 sequence. As noted by Jeff Howe of The Athletic, the Patriots only called one timeout in the entire first half, and it came in the second quarter.

What a clown

Is it Soccer now? When did point differential start to mean anything in the NFL
Doesn’t mean anything outright but it does show indications how strong a team is in the overall picture. Basically a +3 over another team means they are very close in strength, it’s unpredictable game = don’t bet on that game.

Take the Steelers at 2-1 with a -14 and the Ravens also at 2-1 with a +16. Who do you think is the stronger team even though the record says they are the same? The point differential for the Browns is +41 which to me means they are the dominant and best team in the AFC North. Sometimes overall records (especially early in the season) can lie but point differentials indicate just how good that team truly is.

rapelisberger and bettis have zero room to talk when they were basically gifted SB XL
It doesn’t bother me at all if everyone wants to throw “cheaters” at the Patriots. Whatever, it’s been going on for so long I am numb to it.

But to go on your little webcast and start babbling about a specific play as your evidence to cheating and get every single detail wrong about that specific play…than just shutdown your podcast down because you’re a complete idiot.

Love how Butthead and Rapey make no mention that he fumbled the damn ball on that play and that’s why they didn’t get the 1st, nor that they lost that game 41 to 0. Were the Patriots stealing their defensive calls too? To Bill Cowher’s credit he does not blame cheating for all those losses during that era. He even credited the Pats for figuring out their play calls and signs.
