Schmidt getting knocked around by the light hitting A's. Stick his ass back in the bullpen

Yanks back to not hitting again against some terrible starting pitchers

Whatever feel good vibes the Yankees gained from beating the Mets were just flushed down the toilet by the pathetic Yankee offense …

You can stick this team up your ass I hope the Blue Jays catch us and beat us.

Inexcusable losing two to this team, nevermind almost getting no-hit in one of those games. Their heads aren't in a good place

Mets could conceivably lose the division with the third best record in baseball.

In 1993, the Giants won 103 games and missed the playoffs - to the Braves.
Mets missed in 85 with 99 to the Cards. Wish we could go back to pre wildcard days but I'm prob in the minority.

Yankees are in trouble. 7 game lead with 3 huge games against the Rays this weekend. And we were racing back to Chapman being the man in the playoffs (hue mistake) before his tattoo injury

That's a met level injury. Hard to believe it happened to the yanks.

Reality ;

The Yankees aren’t good - and they were never good.

We all got fooled by their hot start vs a subpar schedule.

I don’t think they’d best Baltimore in a 7 game series right now.

And the division lead is in real jeopardy .

If you missed the 78 Red Sox collapse- this is it .

Respectfully, you could almost blame the Yankees entire 2nd half struggles on the regression of Gleyber Torres. This is insane

Another headcase ruined by the smartest minds in baseball. What could go wrong putting a young stud at a position he not comfortable playing in, and letting the whole baseball world watch him struggle there for 2 years on the biggest stage in baseball? Analytics says Go Right Ahead, No Problem!
