-Ottawa series humiliation
-The firings of JD and Gorton
-The Tom Wilson/Panarin incident
-The Buch trade
-The Sammy Blais injury via PK Slewban
-Tony DeAngelo/Georgiev "fight"
-Buchnevich/Shesterkin car accident
-Bubble humiliation against Carolina
-NHL shutting down in 2020, stopping in their tracks one of the hottest Rangers teams I've ever seen
-The massive Lias Andersoon miss
-The just as massive Kravtsov miss
-Kakko not meeting expections
-Getting a 1st overall pick in the first time in forever and having him looking like a bust
-Letting Martin St. Louis go to Montreal
-Third coach in three years
-Firing Gallant after exit interviews despite no plans (apparently) to fire him prior
-Obvious Sather/Dolan meddling via Chris Drury with the 2023 trade deadine
-The playoff collapse against the Devils

So I was at citifield last night …

Tremendous NY atmosphere… 60-40 Mets fans - just a tremendous amount of NYY fans that basically took the place over ..

All there to watch Aaron Boone shit his pants - again - as well as Stanton.

Citified is the best sports venue in the Tri-state area - simple as that .
Very good parking - good food - kid friendly- tailgating accessible without fear of getting shanked with a crack needle in the boogie down.

Up 3-1 - you steal home and you lose ?

Stanton wraps into a Double play - lumbering to first like a fkn clown.
Struck out early too in a big spot - hitting 2 in the lineup ?
Derek Jeter knew the exact shtbag he was dumping on us 5 years ago - a fkn loser.

Early in game 0-0 vs verlander man on 2nd no outs - Donaldson .134 avg is swinging away - no bunt - no runs that inning - asinine.

Extra innings - man on 2nd - on the road - you bunt - sac fly - take the lead - baseball 101. Yankees flop in extras.

You have to walk Nimmo - who is hitting over .300 vs lefties … baseball 101 - failed yet again .

Yankees left 6 runners on from the 7th inning on …

This is a bad baseball team with bad management- bad coaching - bad physio staff and a bad GM and a bad owner .
It’s all buoyed by Judge

We are on course to be embarrassed yet again in the post season- if we even get there.

Cruz is listed as a 3B who also plays SS.

Yanks should deal Gleyber put Volpe at 2B.

Reds looking for P and OF.

They have a replacement 3B (Encarnacion-Strand) so Cabrera who is a solid foundation piece just reacclimating + could do it. That gives them options, solidifies keystone for NY.

Cabrera + Stanton 10% retained + Bader + Severino

De La Cruz + 2 prospects

This has to be one of the worst all time trade proposals I've seen here. Stanton at 10% retained? Would the reds even take him at 100% retained? Maybe the rangers can trade trouba 10% retained, goodrow, Motte and Vesey for cale makar plus an A prospect.

The Orioles LOVE Adley and wouldn't move him, even for an overpayment, particularly to a division rival. They're just back to relevance and having actual crowds at the park each day, and living in the market I can tell you he's a HUGE part of their marketing strategy. He's going nowhere. I just went to Camden the other day and it happened to be Adley Rutschman as Captain America bobble head day. Half of the fans have his jersey. They've made him the face of the franchise. He's not getting traded.

With his advanced age and terrible health history I'm not sure Stanton counts as an asset in a trade, even with salary retained. You'd have to eat a like 70% or his salary to make him palatable.
