hes clearly very good, but he developed the same problem his brother quinn did in the wjc. trying to do everything himself. pass the f***ing puck in the offensive zone dude. interchange with ur teammates. he was a puckhog in the offensive zone and skated himself out of dangerous zone time.
That one play was awful where his teammate was open tapping his stick but he just kept skating around with his head down for no reason like Kakko does sometimes lol

its amazing how unorganized PPs are at this level. like in the nhl, teams clearly try to get a one timer, or work it low to get a bang bang play to the guy in the bumper spot. at this level they just try to get their best shooters to rip shots from anywhere and try to beat a goalie clean.

Hughes’ team was down by multiple goals. Of course he was going to play more risky. I thought he was dominant out there - Devils have a great player.

Shane Wright is lol. That whole line was essentially benched for the third period but the man is the captain. Woof.

America was dominating and even all the Canadians on the main board agreed that that first goal being overturned was BS, that changed the trajectory of the game. And it is a fact they violated the rules last year and had Canadian refs.
All the more reason for some credit, when they were down 2-0. Let's enjoy the anthem.

Besides Bedard, Fantilli are there even many other draft eligibles in the game?
For the U.S., it's Luke Mittelstadt, who will probably be a late pick this year (second go-round), and then Brindley and Stramel who will both probably go mid-first to mid-second. The goalie, Augustine, too.

For Canada, outside who you mentioned, I think it's just the goalie, Milic.

In the NHL, it's not about chances it's about results. Apparently in the WJC it's not about results it's about organization.

Othmann has been the least impressive of our kids at the WJC, and I'm including Laba in that list (he's impressive just for making the team). I haven't seen him drive play at all. I expected more from him.
