The generals were having a terrible game in Sudbury. Penalty fest. Ritchie started playing physical getting things going a bit. Guy got ‘em with a can opener and he fell hard and hurt his arm pretty bad. Shaken up and in a lot of pain. Helped off the ice holding the middle section of his arm. Oshawa is kot likely making the playoffs at this point. Maybe it for Ritchie’s season. Slow start, strong finish, over too soon.

Hard to project his position. Was seen as a likely top five pick to start the year. Was dropped way down in the rankings to like the twenties. Started clawing his way back back up to top ten consideration and now he’s probably done for the year. What a roller coaster.

I like the kid a lot. He’s an extremely ugly skater but it works for him. I don’t think he’s slow. He’s just wildly bow legged. Skates like a bear crapping in the woods. But he’s tough, smart, and skilled. By all accounts he’s extremely dedicated. And he’s got a good frame him knows how to use. Love that he’s a RHS C with size.
Hmmm. He could fall into that 15-20 range which could be where Ottawa’s pick lands. He has legitimate top line C skill. This is very intriguing.

And the Coyotes don’t seem to shy away from drafting kids who have been injured.

Oh and Barlow on pace for 50g in the OHL. Last two draft eligibles to do that were Kaliyev and Skinner, I think.
I haven’t had good luck watching him recently. My views of him earlier in the season were much better. He was scoring at will at one point.

He hasn’t really popped when I’ve seen him. Harder working Musty. But that actually a pretty good thing, I guess. Now that there’s less reason to watch Oshawa, I’ll get some more Owen sound games in.

Maybe if there were a bunch of USHLers I was keen on, other than Strbak and the US team. But I just can’t.
I think they had an early ASU game televised but yeah of all my subscriptions this is the one i enjoy the least.

I’ve been watching a bunch of CHL. And am I crazy or is the WHL easily the most enjoyable to watch?
This year for sure. The Ice are a team i watch most often.

Same. Edmonton last year was a ton of fun. And Seattle is pretty great. Even Tri City and Prince George.
How come Yager isn’t half the player that he was last year? Honestly i would have had him as a lock for top 10 a year ago. Maybe top 7.

Gonna watch a lot of Brandon and Vancouver this month. I think Honzek and Danielson could be in play with the Ottawa pick.

How could I forget Moose Jaw? Love the team. Can’t watch home games because they look like 1997.

My problem with Yager is he looks exactly the same as last year.

Yager was way more dynamic last year. Everytime he was on the ice it was a scoring chance. This year the pressure has really gotten to him. He could fall to the Sens pick.

Caught Daniellson live last week in Regina. He looked like a good two way C. The question is what’s his offensive upside. 2C or 3C. If it’s 2C is he a name for the Sens pick?

Now that he’s healthy i can finally watch Vancouver play more.

When I watched Yager last year I was like “wow, he’s THIS in his D-1, imagine what he’ll be next year!” but now I’m still seeing mostly the same level.

Danielson is also really old for his draft year, I think. So when the selling point of his game is the “maturity level” I get a little skeptical.
