Hoping Michkov and one of Moore, Stenberg, Benson or Dvorsky. Probably unlikely Stenberg goes that high though.Who do hope to get at 6 and 12?
I don’t follow the prospects much. Need your guy’s expertise.

Cristall wouldn’t make my top 20. But he would likely be in my top 32.Actually the fact this guy doesn't have Cristall on his list at all (unless I'm blind which is definitely a possibility) just makes me toss the whole thing out the window. I can accept the rest, but not having Cristall as a 1st round talent is the same reason Debrincat went in the late 2nd and we all know how that turned out. Not at all the same thing as a guy who's only 5'8 or whatever. Cristall might be the best playmaker in the whole draft, and yes that includes Smith. Just because he can't play defense (or doesn't want to) and is somewhat inconsistent (personally I thought he looked pretty decent all tournament) does not erase that.
Wow! It’s like throw out the whole season and focus on the u18s exclusively kind of list. I wonder if we’ll see things calm down and level out by the final rankings.Plenty of intrigue after Connor Bedard in Bob McKenzie's NHL Draft Lottery Edition ranking | TSN
There is no doubt whatsoever who will be taken No. 1 overall in the talent-laden 2023 NHL Draft. Beyond that, though, at Nos. 2 through 5? Check out TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie's Top 12 Lottery Edition Draft Ranking.www.tsn.ca
1. Bedard
2. Fantilli
3. Smith
4. Carlsson
5. Michkov
6. Dvorsky
7. Leonard
8. Benson
9. Perreault
10. Reinbacher
11. Barlow
12. Wood
I tell you what I'm excited as a fan if we land 2 of those names between 7-12. I'd prefer a name in the top 6 don't get me wrong but our rebuild is setting up nicely.Plenty of intrigue after Connor Bedard in Bob McKenzie's NHL Draft Lottery Edition ranking | TSN

Getting a “safer” two-way C like Dvorsky at 6th, who’s already very experienced playing in a men’s league, and then adding a true wildcard, boom or bust, raw tools and skills gamble like Matthew Wood at 12th, with him poised to take his time at UConn, would be so great.I think our first pick at 6/7/8 will be Michkov, Dvorsky or Reinbacher.
oh it's recency bias but it happens every U18.Wow! It’s like throw out the whole season and focus on the u18s exclusively kind of list. I wonder if we’ll see things calm down and level out by the final rankings.
Probably goes to show (or reiterate) how close the rankings really are. That one tournament can really shuffle the deck.
Replace Perreault with Danielson and and Wood with Honzek and it’s the same guys in my top twelve. Just different orders.
I thought I was overreacting to the u18s in my adjustments. But now I think I didn’t go crazy enough.
The only name I’m not pumped about is Perreault. But any two of the other 11 and I’m thrilled.I tell you what I'm excited as a fan if we land 2 of those names between 7-12. I'd prefer a name in the top 6 don't get me wrong but our rebuild is setting up nicely.
I have Benson 3rd. I don’t know if I’d have the guts to take him over Carlsson in reality. I’d easily take him over Smith, no problem. No hesitation.oh it's recency bias but it happens every U18.
Bensen hasn't looked as good since he came back from injury so I think he will be there at our pick.
hard to ignore that level of production. Same with Smith who you pretty much have to conclude is a top 5 lock now. skill is skill. The only name I’m not pumped about is Perreault. But any two of the other 11 and I’m thrilled.

But I think there’s a good chance he’s there at 12th.
It's not easy dissecting the impact of two elite players that are always on the ice together. Like Pat Kane and Sam Gagner, it took scouts a while to figure who was really driving their success. Then when they figured it out, it was really hard to project how good the "passenger" Sam Gagner might really be.hard to ignore that level of production. Seems excessive. Both RD, like Soderstom and Lamoureux. How do we feel if we walk away with Reidbacher and Wallinder as our two first rounders? Button seems to think Wallinder is a top pairing D is why I am putting him at that 12 slot.
My main concern is the Ottawa pick. I don’t want it to drop or get deferred. I don’t care as much about our pick being 6 vs 7 vs 8.Big day on Monday.
I'm not counting on a lottery win but I will be crushed if our pick is pushed back to 8 or if the Sens pick is deferred to next year.
Gimme 7 and 12 and a pizza and some cider and Monday will be a very fine day.
Yep. I’m with you. But I like a bunch of blueliners around our 2nd. Maxim Strbak, Tanner Molendyk, Hunter Brzustewicz, Oliver Bonk.Don't buck the trend...take the O guys in the heavy O draft and then take D men in the supposedly heavy D prospect draft next year
I’m just not sold on Sale. Love Yager though. At 12th I’d be pumped.I'm hoping for Yager or Sale with the Ottawa pick. I'd like Bedard or Fantilli with ours.
depends how representative Button's opinion is of the scouting community because if here are teams out there who think that he is a first pairing RD who can skate he will go early.I agree...and I'm not so sure that Wallinder won't be there at our pick in the 2nd round as well
